- When some men are attacked by Indians, a survivor obtains an Indian medicine arrow. An Indian tells Blade he has found gold but will not tell him where until he has that arrow. So Blade starts killing the survivors of the attack but fails to get the arrow. One of the men he kills is John Cardigan and Kit Cardigan, a Scout for Custer, now starts looking for the killer of his father.

- A night of love, intrigue, death, and blackmail leaves stage-star Elsie Manning's fate at stake in a conflict with the unscrupulous Doctor Gruell. A rejected lover dies in Miss Manning's apartment, and Gurell implies that the death was murder and attempts to blackmail the actress. The climax brings the actress, her fiancé, and the dead man's wife face-to-face in an emotional denouement.
- A mystical medicine arrow, the key to a lost gold treasure, is lost in one of many Indian attacks. It is recovered by the only two survivors, a Major and his daughter, who become the targets of those who wish to possess it.
- A feud between two gangs in Chinatown breaks out into a tong war.
- Lloyd Wilson, trusted employee of an investment firm, is suspected of theft when $20,000 in security bonds is stolen from his office. Tarzan, the Famous Police Dog, has an intuitive dislike of an apparently respectable citizen, and this leads Wilson and the police to the gang headquarters. Tarzan wins a public citation for his leading part in breaking the case against a desperate gang of criminals.
- An unscrupulous lawyer uses alcohol to swindle an innocent family.
- Doctor Paul Gironda announces he has discovered a formula for the manufacture of synthetic gold. The International Research Foundation agrees to financially help him develop his formula. Just before the Board of Directors arrive at Gironda's laboratory to witness his achievement, he is heard screaming, and mysteriously disappears before help arrives. Newspaper reporter Walter Jameson, who is engaged to Gironda's daughter Verna, calls in investigator Craig Kennedy. Kennedy and Jameson face many perils and cliffhangers. When Gironda's kidnappers use television to show Gironda is still alive, the unseen "Clutching Hand" orders Kennedy to quit the case. The latter finally finds Gironda a prisoner aboard the freight ship, "The Nellie B",and rescues him. He instructs Jameson to return Gironda to his home, but Jameson's car is overtaken by agents of "The Clutching Hand" and the doctor is once again kidnapped. Near the end, Kennedy convenes the IRF board of directors and various other people, and exposes "The Clutching Hand".
- Special Insurance-Investigator Dan Kennedy and his wonder dog, Tarzan the Police Dog, are called in to investigate the persistent robbing of a shipping-and-storage warehouse in Los Angeles.
