- Poor Raja opens a fast food restaurant right opposite a five star hotel run by it's owner Singhania, earning his wrath. The wealthy hotel owner uses all his influence to remove Raja, but in vain. Things get worse for the wealthy man, when his daughter Kiran wants to marry the poor hotelier. The wealthy man refuses, leading to a confrontation and a condition - which Raja fulfills, he becomes rich virtually overnight, and proposes for the hand of Kiran. The wealthy hotelier reluctantly accepts him as his son-in-law, only to have Kiran elope with a man named Rahul.
- A new version of the popular love story of Heer (Sridevi) and Deedho (Anil Kapoor), who calls himself Ranjha after leaving home and living incognito in Heer's village as a labourer in her father's (Shammi Kapoor) house. Heer and Deedho were childhood sweethearts, separated because of family animosities which have grown over the years, kept on the boil by Kaheda (Anupam Kher), whose leg was irreparably fractured by Deedho's family and friends.
- After the tragic deaths of his son Ajit and daughter-in-law Rajni, Raja Saheb decides to educate his granddaughter Neelam in the city. Years later, Neelam has grown up and returns temporarily to their rural palatial home. Raja Saheb would like her to live there and look after the business, but she refuses. Then she meets Anand and they fall in love and want to marry. Anand is introduced to Raja Saheb and Neelam to Anand's mom Shanti; both approve and start planning for the wedding and marriage. But Anand is not who he claims to be: he is a snake who was kept in captivity by Tantrik Goraknath, who wants to possess a priceless diamond stone called "Mani", and Neelam is the only one who knows its location. And Goraknath, unlike his mentor, Bhairavnath, has ensured that no one will stand in his way when he obtains the Mani.
- Akendra alias Topichand Bhangare runs an antique store as a front for illegal activities. He lives near the notorious Chor Bazaar (thieves market) area with his wife, Sulekha, and only daughter, Kiran. He would like Kiran to get married to the mother of all gangsters, and picks gangster Shakti Dada, who is currently undergoing a lengthy prison sentence, to be his prospective son-in-law. But Kiran already loves Raj Oberoi, who belongs to a wealthy family, and has no links with any gangsters. Kiran convinces Raj in order to meet with her dad's requirements, he must first become a gangster. Raj reluctantly agrees, and is introduced to a gangster-trainer called Subramaniam. After a number of misadventures, Raj finally accomplishes his goal, and qualifies to be a suitable groom for Kiran. Then things change abruptly with the arrival of Topichand's dad, a wealthy man, Thakur Rana, who strongly opposes Kiran's marriage with any gangster. A hapless Raj now decides to cleanse himself of his gangster image, with hilarious and unpredictable results.
- The film revolves around Rajni, a shape-shifting cobra who marries a civilian to avenge the death of her spouse at the hands of an evil saint.

Both Vijay and Ravi love the same girl, and one day Vijay comes to know that the girl whom he loves and who is his life is in arm of Ravikumar. Vijay's life come to standstill and from here begins a series of misunderstandings.
- Abused by his step-mother; Rajmer, Jaipur-based young Mangal faces more trauma when his father Havaldar Rajnath Pandey is shot dead by Daku Lal Singh. He then gets separated from his sister, Deepa, is adopted by a drug-dealer, Kulbhushan, who re-names him 'Tiger'; and then joins hands with criminal don, Jaganlal. Then he gets into a confrontation with Police Inspector Vijay Shukla, and ends up killing him. Police launch a manhunt and ultimately come to the conclusion that he was killed in a train accident. He does survive, and takes this opportunity to return home. He will be welcomed by a recently widowed Deepa, but will face the shock of finding out that he was not only responsible for her widowhood, but also had a hand in the abduction and subsequent trauma of his nephew, Munna.
- In seeking to avenge his father's murder, a young man puts an entire village at risk of retribution.
- Beautiful Sapna lives with her wealthy father, Dhanraj, and a younger brother in a palatial house. Her father comes across some valuable diamonds and conceals them in a secret place. While driving one day, Dhanraj is killed, but her brother escapes without any injuries, but loses control of his vocal chords unable to tell anyone how the accident occurred, and goes missing. After Sapna wins a beauty contest, she travels to Bombay and meets with a young wheel-chair bound soldier named Gopal, and both fall in love with each other. What Sapna does not know is that Gopal is a fraud, a con-man who is only after her money. Then her life is even more complicated after she finds out that her father was killed by a man named Diwan. Before she could think of taking any further action, Diwan and his men track her down - their goal to find the secret location of the diamonds hidden by Dhanraj - and kill anyone who dares to get in their way.
