- When a woman's fiancé disappears, Death gives her three chances to save him from his fate.
- Jim Gray is looking for the gang leader known as the General. When Neil Denham is murdered, Jim assumes his identity. He and his pal Squint Saunders then try to join the gang. But they get captured and Jim is told he can join up only if he kills his friend.
- When some men are attacked by Indians, a survivor obtains an Indian medicine arrow. An Indian tells Blade he has found gold but will not tell him where until he has that arrow. So Blade starts killing the survivors of the attack but fails to get the arrow. - Touted at the time as a "$3,000,000 Entertainment for the Hundred Millions," this Old Testament spectacle delivered what it promised, "from the creation of Adam and Eve to the parting of the Red Sea." The advertising claimed it was filmed over a period of five years at the "Exact Locations of Biblical History." Little is known about the actual production, which has puzzled film scholars given its international box-office success. This edition was made from the only complete copy known to exist, a mint 16mm print of the 1929 7-reel sound reissue.

He takes over an ancient mansion, installs a physician, Doctor "X", his nurse Zanya, his butler, Hawkins, and Grindley, who has plans of his own, since he already has a portion of the map. The possessor of the other portion soon shows up. Meanwhile, Collins has his slave diggers---The Mole Men---digging up the island looking for the treasure. Back in the states reporter Larry Kent is assigned to go to the island to investigate the disappearance of another reporter, Paul Thorndyke. A sea captain who has half of the map is killed before he can tell the daughter, Toni Morrell, of an old shipmate about the other half but is around long enough to tell her that her father, that she doesn't know, is on the island but expires before he can tell her his name. Toni and Larry decide to join forces and solve the mysteries if the island.

An (interrupted) indiscretion by John Wyatt with a floozy prompts his wife June to travel to Reno, Nevada to get a quickie 6-week-waiting-period divorce. Penitent over his past actions (since he got caught), John follows June to Reno and manages a reconciliation after a murder gives him a chance to prove his true devotion.
- Lillian Stevens and her cousin, Ruth, return home from college and Lillian receives a cold reception from her too-busy-to-bother parents; her father, Dr. Richard Stevens, is a professional reformer and has a radio broadcast to make, and her mother, Alice, is planning a bridge party and sends Lillian off to her cousin's home for dinner. But Margie, a school friend, telephones Ruth to invite her to go night-clubbing with two boys. Ruth declines but Lillian hops on board. She meets Gerald Winthrop. She falls for Gerald Winthrop. Gerald skids his car into a deep rut. Gerald says he can't move the car and, since it is raining, they should seek shelter in a nearby motel/tourist court. They do...and stay all night. But Gerald is something of a cad and a bounder, and he soon takes up with Ruth. The fickle Gerald soon proposes to Ruth. This is about the time that Lillian discovers has left her with impending-child. This is not a good situation.
- Bill travels to a new state after the outlaw Scarface saves him from a lynch mob. There he takes a job on the Barton ranch and joins in the fight against gang leader Larkin. Finding a wounded Scarface he helps him recover. Arrested by Larkin's stooge Sheriff, and with another lynch mob after him, he once again needs Scarface's help.
- Millionaire Joshua Barker insists that his daughter Faith must marry Phil Langhorne, a man that neither likes, and Faith is in love with and eager to marry her childhood sweetheart, John Temple. The masked and mysterious airman, known only as Pilot X, makes plans to steal the inventions for his own purposes. The perils are fast and furious as the owner of the airplane company, aided by his aviatrix fiancee, find themselves in constant danger, both on land and in the air.
- While trying to nab a gang of diamond smugglers, the police are notified by Scotland Yard that the gang's leader, a beautiful Englishwoman who was on her way to the States to take control of the gang, has been caught. Because the American gangsters don't know what their English boss looks like, the police persuade a female impersonator to pretend to be her and infiltrate the gang.
- In the Asian province of Seemang where the Bay of Bengal meets the jungle, Chandler Elliott (John St. Polis) owns a large and prosperous rubber plantation. His attractive daughter, Dorothy (Charlotte Henry), is engaged to neighboring planter Tom Banning (William Bakewell) but troubles are brewing for both plantations. When a load of rubber is put on a riverboat to be taken to port, the boat is attacked by river pirates and the crew is killed and the shipment stolen. Jim Murphy (LeRoy Mason). Elliott's plantation manager, is plotting with others to force Elliott to to sell his plantation. Adventurer Frank Hardy (Frank Buck)determines to find out who is behind the plot.
- A French cousin arrives in America, causing chaos everywhere he goes. On a visit to Coney Island, the cousin claims to be a prizefighter and enters a high-stakes boxing match.
- Bill Sommers is after Weston for cutting off the ranchers water supply and then buying up their ranches. But the real culprit is his foreman Ballon who now kills a man and frames Bill for the murder. Bill now has to bring in Ballon while avoiding the Sheriff and his posse who are on his trail.
- Buddy rescues Bonnie Norton and is rewarded with a job on her father's ranch. When he is captured by Nachez' outlaw band and is left tied to a train track, he is rescued by McCune, another bandit. They both escape, and though Buddy is mistakenly identified with the outlaws, he vindicates himself by capturing Nachez.
- An unscrupulous lawyer uses alcohol to swindle an innocent family.
- Greedy, Unscrupulous Rudolph learns that Belinda has just inherited $10,000, and he decides to steal it from her. He and his henchmen arrive at her house just as the money is being delivered. Meanwhile, Hairbreadth Harry observes the whole scene, and he hides the money for Belinda. But while Rudolph keeps Harry and Belinda occupied, his henchmen are already going about the job of stealing the money.
- Part of a short-lived "Izzie and Lizzie" series named after the male and female ingénues in two comically contrasted families living next door to one another, this slapstick adventure finds Lizzie Murphy (Bess True) "going Hollywood." Having won a beauty contest, she's invited to travel west for a film test. Both Izzie Cohen and the Murphy menfolk are soon in hot pursuit, having belatedly realized that (according to a lurid tell-all book) Tinsel Town is the ruin of many a virtuous maiden. When they arrive, Lizzie is already starring in a movie and the wide-eyed family folk are fast wreaking havoc on the lot at "Paramet Studio." The gimmick of clashing Irish and Jewish stereotypes was a popular one for decades, most famously in long-running Broadway plays like ABIE'S IRISH ROSE and films like many-sequel-ed THE COHENS AND THE KELLYS. - Dennis Harvey
- The Army sends Andy Thomas posing as a renegade to find out who has been harassing the wagon trains. He joins a wagon train and soon learns Cherokee and Snake are the ones he is after. But Cherokee and Snake then kill two Indians and blame the settlers from the wagon train and Andy finds the Indians about to attack.
- Doctor Paul Gironda announces he has discovered a formula for the manufacture of synthetic gold. The International Research Foundation agrees to financially help him develop his formula. Just before the Board of Directors arrive at Gironda's laboratory to witness his achievement, he is heard screaming, and mysteriously disappears before help arrives. Newspaper reporter Walter Jameson, who is engaged to Gironda's daughter Verna, calls in investigator Craig Kennedy. Kennedy and Jameson face many perils and cliffhangers. When Gironda's kidnappers use television to show Gironda is still alive, the unseen "Clutching Hand" orders Kennedy to quit the case. The latter finally finds Gironda a prisoner aboard the freight ship, "The Nellie B",and rescues him. He instructs Jameson to return Gironda to his home, but Jameson's car is overtaken by agents of "The Clutching Hand" and the doctor is once again kidnapped. Near the end, Kennedy convenes the IRF board of directors and various other people, and exposes "The Clutching Hand".
- Snub joins the Army and is sent to France. There, while behind enemy lines, he meets a pretty orphan girl and her little brother and decides to help them. The inept Germans don't stand a chance.
- Unjustly accused of murder, Buddy Blake escapes from the courtroom where he is on trial for his life and rounds up the Raiders, an outlaw gang, secretly led by Luke Noels, that has been attempting to drive Buddy's boss, Martin, from his ranch on Granite Range. Buddy and Doris Martin then receive her father's permission to be married.
- After many years as a vagabond, Ronald comes home to his family who are about to be evicted from their home. He saves their home and, while chasing a runaway pancake, saves a kidnapped girl as well.
- On a caravan to California, Dr. Holt Ezra punishes his wife Hetty for flirting with young men. The caravan stops in the town of Independence.
- A couple of hobos at a park find themselves in all kinds of hi-jinks, including a night patrol job where they end up in a haunted house and Snub accidentally finds himself in a skeleton costume.
