- The Munim (Clerk) in Ranimaa's family lives with his son, Kaushal and daughter, Madhavi. After he passes away, Ranimaa brings up both children as her own, along with her only son, Rajesh. Years later, Rajesh has grown up and is of marriageable age. He meets with beautiful Bhanu Saxena and both fall in love with each other. Shortly thereafter, in a boating accident, Kaushal passes away, leaving behind a devastated Madhavi, Rajesh, who blames himself for his death, and Ranimaa. A few months later, Rajesh gets married to Bhanu and she moves in with them. Bhanu dislikes Madhavi and would like her out of the way, she goes to the extent of accusing her of having an affair with her husband. Under pressure, Madhavi goes to kill herself, and is rescued by a young man named Moti. Rajesh likes Moti and would like him to marry Madhavi, to which he agrees. After the marriage, Madhavi bids adieu to Ranimaa, and Rajesh, and moves in with Moti. What Madhavi does not know that Moti had an agenda and an ulterior motive for marrying her, and it looks like she has been dumped from the frying pan into the fire.

- Radha earns a living begging in order to support herself and her crippled and ailing father. - Teja's family consists of himself, his wife, Sita, his brother, Shanker, and a son, Sunder. They all live happily. Things take a turn for the worse, when Sita passes away. Teja decides to re-marry, and he does so with Sonia, who comes to live with him at his palatial home with her brother, Laxmidas, with a devious agenda of taking over his property. Soon misunderstandings arise, and Shanker is asked to leave the house. Eventually these misunderstanding involve Sunder, who also is asked to leave the house by Teja, who thinks that his brother and son are consipiring against his newly-wedded wife. Years later, Sunder has grown up to be a conman, and Shanker a black-marketeer. Both Sunder and Shankar meet without knowing each other's identity, and a confrontation takes place. When they realize they are related, they decide to expose Sonia, and open Teja's eyes, not knowing that Teja is completely blinded by Sonia's love, and will not let anyone to come between them.

Would Rajesh ever be able to tell her he loved her; more importantly, is Sapna alive?
- Agra-based atheist and revolutionary poet/editor of Inquilab, Ejaz, falls head-over-heels in love with Naaz Ara Begum after he hears her sing, and then ends up losing his job. With the assistance of his lovely sister, Kausar Ara Begum, Ejaz and Naaz meet secretly. This does not auger well with Akhtar Nawab, Naaz's paternal cousin, who plans to marry her. To make matters worse, their meeting is witnessed by her enraged dad, Nawab Bakar Ali Khan, who initially asks Ejaz to leave, and then decides to teach him a lesson - with two loaded rifles.
- Vishal is a poet and lives a middle-class lifestyle with his widowed and wheelchair-bound mom. He is in love with Aruna, who works with a publishing company. Due to his forthrightness, Vishal is unable to keep a job, and Aruna attempts in vain to get him to work at her firm. Vishal gains fame selling his poems to Ramu Makhichandani, but does not improve his lifestyle. Then one day a young woman named Sonia enters his life and both of them fall in love with each other. Vishal proposes to Sonia and she accepts, however, fate has some other plans for them - for Sonia is none other than the step-daughter of Aruna - and neither Vishal nor Aruna may want this marriage alliance to succeed.

- Living a poor lifestyle with his widowed mother, Shankar sells toys for a living, but is addicted to alcohol. He is attracted to Parvati, who also lives a poor lifestyle along with her step-brother, Jagat Narayan, his wife, and their daughter, Pushpa. After an argument with his mother, Shankar departs to the city, gives up drinking, earns a lot of money, and returns home just to time to pay off his mortgage. But his world will soon be shattered after he goes to ask for the hand of a now wealthy Parvati. This is where he will be forced to face his past, and ultimately be told that Parvati's marriage has been arranged elsewhere. Unable to live without Parvati, he takes up drinking again and heads on to a path of self-destruction.

Kote spreads the rumour that Sharad does is not of chaste character. This however creates tensions between Renu and Sharad. Mr. Chaudhury starts believing that Kote is spreading the rumours in order to win the place of his son-in-law. At this juncture Sharad introduces Renu to all of them and all tensions are resolved.

He was requested to help the police and he agreed.He was tutored to behave like Raj and was also handed over the diamonds to be passed on to the boss Raj on his way to the hideout met a pretty girl named Kamini and he fell head over heels in love with her but she didnt reciprocate the feeling. When Raj reached the hide out it turned out to be a posh restaurant which was run by the uncle of Kamini who was in tow with the boss. Raj handed over the diamonds to the uncle and got instructions from the boss for another assignment. The boss, talked to him from behind the curtain because nobody-not even Jagdish uncle of Kamini-ever saw the boss. Raj who was taken for the real man made certain characteristic mistake which were marked by Jagdish. Besides, being in love with Kamini he paid no attention to Roopa who was a trusted girl in the gang and the real Raj was supposed to be in love with her. Jagdish one day asked Raj to kill Kamini so that he could lay his hand on his deceased brothers wealth. Raj apparantly had to agree but decided to elope with her and never return to the gang or the police head-quarters. Just at the time when they were going to be married, Kamini came to know that the man whom she was going to wed was none other than the killer of her father. Raj had to keep mum for if he said he was not the real Raj he will be in yet another jam. kamini couldnt marry the killer of her father. Whether Kamini and Raj were united in wed-lock; Whether the boss of the ring was brought to book shall remain any bodys guess,till,my dear patrons,you see this film for yourself on the screen.
