- An imaginative four-year-old boy learns life lessons and discovers new things with his friends and family.
- The story of a pair of non-identical twin brothers, Lucien and Wayne, who live with their hygiene-crazed mother and their western/country-crazed father in a small town called Soap City. Lucien is a delicate, nature-loving boy, while Wayne is a rough antisocial bully, whose only interest in life is junk. Naturally, some conflicts will ensue.

There follows a struggled attempt to get their voices back, which inadvertently provides the story that Harry was looking for all along.

- Finding fun ways to play is the theme today. Caillou, Clementine, and Leo are disappointed because they can't go to the zoo. They cheer up after Caillou's Mommy and Daddy help them pretend to be animals themselves. Also today, Caillou, Rosie, and Julie (their babysitter) go on a scavenger hunt and decide to make a surprise craft for Mommy and Daddy with the cool stuff they found. Caillou's big friend André has come to visit. André is a soccer player and Caillou wants to play too... Only Caillou isn't very good at kicking the ball. He wants to give up, but André and Dad encourage him and eventually he makes the biggest kick of the day. Then, when Caillou's kite-flying plans are defeated by rain, he creates a pirate ship in his living room.
- Harry watches a storm from his bedroom window and wonders what causes thunder and lightning.
- Caillou learns two very important lessons in this episode- patience and persistance. Caillou, his father and his grandfather go for a walk in the woods and try to catch falling leaves. Frustrated by the game, Caillou finally realizes that he has to keep trying to be able to succeed. In the second story, Caillou learns to tie his shoe laces. Even though it takes him a whole day of practicing, and he gets a little angry in the process, he eventually gets it right! In the third story, Caillou's father teaches him to swim. After just a few lessons, Caillou can swim all by himself. Finally, after Caillou takes a bad fall off of his bicycle, he learns that he has to get back on again.
- Caillou is awoken by a thunderstorm. Caillou spends the day with Miss Martin, Clementine and Leo on a nature hike through the woods. When Caillou sees Dad painting the house he wants to join in on the fun and he's disappointed when Dad suggests that he should paint a card for Grandma instead. It's a beautiful autumn day and Caillou wants to spend the entire day outside playing in the leaves.
- Caillou does a lot in a day, and today he wants to dress himself, only his Mommy is doing the laundry and he doesn't have any clean clothes, so Daddy and Caillou decide to play a dressing game with Daddy's old clothes. While preparing a picnic lunch with Mom, Caillou tests a bit too much of everything. He has no room left to eat the special sandwich Clementine made for him. His appetite comes back while watching squirrels storing food in their houses for the winter. Later that day, it's bath time, only Caillou doesn't like to take baths. Daddy turns bath time into playtime with a motorboat and a big bottle of bubble bath. And, when the car breaks down Caillou, Rosie and Dad have to pull over. Caillou comforts Rosie who becomes afraid when smoke comes out of the engine. Caillou is overjoyed when the tow truck arrives. Everyone rides to the garage and Caillou is in charge of holding Rosie's hand and explaining all the scary sounds.
- Even though Caillou is a little boy, he has a big job - he is Rosie's big brother! Caillou helps Mommy, Daddy and Grandma with his little sister Rosie and learns that sometimes it's fun just to be a little boy, too.

Come October, Grandpa and Caillou take a trip to the pumpkin patch, and have Daddy help them carve their jack-o-lantern. Caillou also goes trick-or-treating as an astronaut. In Noverber, Thanksgivng seems like a big hassle until Mom and Dad explain its significance, which gets Caillou into the spirit. Teddy, Rexy, and Gilbert enjoy the holidays too; once Gilbert assures Rexy that the falling leaves don't mean the trees are sick.
- Caillou meets a lot of new people today. He's invited to spend the day with Clementine's family and is nervous until he discovers her family is a lot like his. Caillou's first day at day care is scary until he meets his teacher Miss Martin, and makes two new friends, Leo and Clementine. He has so much fun that when his Mommy comes to pick him up, Caillou doesn't want to go home! On another day, Grandma and Caillou visit her friends in the Seniorsâ€ô Home and Rover goes with them. Caillou meets a lot of Grandmaâ€ôs friends and tries to keep Rover out of trouble.
- Caillou's learning to do new things, and discovering it's okay to have help while he learns. To prove he's ready to help Dad paint the porch, Caillou paints Rosie's dollhouse first - and Gilbert, with paint-dipped paws, does some painting too! Caillou moves from renovation to recreation when Dad and Sarah teach him to play baseball; Dad teaches him to swim; and Clementine goads him into going down the big kids' slide. Mom shows Caillou how to tie his shoes but he get frustrated and stops trying. With courage and practice, he's soon able to do these things on his own.
- Today, Caillou discovers something inside him that makes ordinary things fun: imagination! Unable to fly his kite on a windless day, Caillou stares at the clouds and finds they're really wagons, balloons and dinosaurs, if you look at them just right. When rain grounds his kite another day, Caillou and Dad turn the living room into a pirate ship. Just like his Daddy, Caillou loves anything to do with cars, so heâ€ôs very happy when Dad asks him to help wash the family car. And while he sits in the car, he imagines heâ€ôs driving a car to the beach. It's also fun playing with his friend George, who no one can see but Caillou. Later, Caillou, Rosie and Julie the baby-sitter travel to all sorts of pretend far away places. Among them are the desert with its camel and oasis, the big mountain they climb and finally the river and waterfalls in the steamy tropical forest.
- Caillou's clowning around today and having a wonderful time. Seeing Bravo the magician at a friend's birthday party inspires Caillou to become Caillou the Great and put on a magic show of his own. He plays the clown for a wary Rosie, who's afraid of clowns until Caillou shows her they're just people wearing silly costumes. Then, Caillou gets to go to a parade; has another pretend parade with Dad; and even makes puppet clowns with Grandma. Caillou is very excited when the family takes a trip across country by train.

Caillou wants to be taller like his friend Andre and tries to think of a way to grow faster. Caillou is excited about the arrival of spring, but he's a little disappointed when Dad says there'll be no more snow. Caillou loves Leo's pet hamster and would really like to have his own.

Caillou and Leo can't find Caillou's airplane anywhere but their hunt through the house turns up all sort of other lost items. After getting caught in the rain, Caillou loses his voice. Caillou is invited to Leo's birthday party and is overjoyed when he discovers there will be a magician present.

That's why Caillou's prepared when he and Sarah find a baby bird that's fallen from its nest, and they nurse it back to health. Later, Caillou and his daycare buddies have a treasure hunt in the forest. With Sarah and a magnifying glass, Caillou pretends to be a jungle explorer, hunting "big game" in the garden. On another day, Caillou and his family go away for a weekend of camping in the woods. He climbs a mountain with Daddy and really, really hopes he will get to see a moose before it is time to go home.

- Caillou's first airplane ride brings lots of new experiences: a fun breakfast, an amazing view out the window and a trip to the flight deck with Daddy. Caillou and his family then prepare for a day at the beach, where there's so much to see and do. Caillou and Daddy play in the water, and later a seagull steals Caillou's sandwich! Also today, Caillou misses his friend Sarah when she goes on a trip and he's left behind. The puppets set out lawn chairs and towels and encourage Teddy to have his own vacation in the backyard.
- Caillou and Dad are settling down for their favourite weekend ritual of "reading" the paper. Caillou can't seem to play quietly in his room without Rosie interrupting and generally getting in his way. Caillou, Mum and Rosie go to the park for a picnic and bring a kite. Mum and Dad are busy with spring cleaning and Caillou wants to help.
- When Harry is disappointed that none of his wishes come true in the real world, the dinosaurs take him to visit the wishing well in Dino-World where wishes are readily granted. The story ends with Harry wishing he hadn't wished for anything in the first place!/Harry, Charlie, and the dinosaurs are playing at being pirates. Harry is the captain of the pirate ship but becomes so unbearably bossy that Charlie and the dinos decide to strike and partake in a mutiny - banishing Harry to a desert island alone. Upon reflection, Harry realises how badly he has behaved, and after apologising, he promises never to be bossy again.
