- Where does the character end and the actor begin?
- Suburban London, the 1980s. A stranger in the family becomes a ghost child and awakens the monsters and desires of a queer childhood.
- Let Me Feel Your Finger Firsts ONTOLOGICALLY ANXIOUS ORGANISM narrates the experience of an animated character who, nervous about the concept of character itself, has disguised himself as a boulder. The three episodes follow the boulder's progress through a series of reconstituted cartoon scenes whilst he grapples with existence, meets his maker and finally slips outside of the space of the picture plane to seek the ultimate reference.
- FRANCIS is an account of the creation of a nine-year old 'defective' animated character. As the draughtsman's hand goes to work and Francis attains animated consciousness, his behaviour is observed and assessed by a child psychologist. The boy's responses - initially slow and apparently flawed - develop in unusual comic directions as the examination progresses. As his vocalizations begin to address the nature of his animated world and the psychologist continues to try and interpret his actions, it appears that Francis may 'break out' once and for all and become a 'real' animated character.
- ontology: a branch of philosophy that deals with the nature of existence (OUP) Ontologically Anxious Organism is nervous about the notion of character. He feels the other members of his comic family trying to rise up inside him and use him as an exit. So he disguised himself as a boulder... Camouflaged yet constrained, Ontologically Anxious Organism shifts between a series of reconstituted cartoon backgrounds, as he grapples with existence.
