- 1979. The apartment of a famous ballerina was robbed in Moscow. The housekeeper was killed, the attackers fled. Investigator Anokhin offers his friend, journalist Eltsov, to help find the criminals. At the same time, there is a high-profile bank robbery in Yerevan, which is carried out by a specially released bugbear Machaon. At first glance, the two cases seem completely unrelated.
