- "Repeat Offender" is based on author Bradley Nickell's best selling true crime book and tells the story of Daimon Monroe, mastermind of the most prolific theft ring in Las Vegas history. Over the course of 15 years, Monroe specialized in commercial burglaries, amassing millions in cash and stolen property from his criminal enterprise. Many have labeled him the poster child for a Habitual Criminal. "Repeat Offender" follows the real life investigation led by Detective Nickell, as the elite Repeat Offender Program (ROP) unit closes in on Monroe and his co-conspirators. The viewer sits in the detective's chair, listening to jail phone calls and suspect interviews, which are supported by courtroom testimony and new interviews with the people who worked on the case. All of which leads to a Murder for Hire plot where Monroe attempts to have Detective Nickell, the prosecutor, and the judge killed for revenge. Perhaps proving the line between a violent and non violent criminal is forever blurred.
