- BAFTA Cymru is the Welsh branch of the Academy and is served by a committee elected annually by the members.
- A membership-led organisation, BAFTA Cymru is dedicated to bringing together people from all parts of the media industry to debate, network, and explore relevant and topical issues and help improve standards through training, workshops and screenings. Established in 1987, BAFTA Cymru is constantly finding new ways to improve and update its services, and actively expresses the concerns and opinions of its members at a time of rapid change in Wales.
