Matt Czuchry is an American Actor and Producer known for his work on The Resident (2018), The Good Wife (2009) and Gilmore Girls (2000).
Matt graduated from College of Charleston with Summa Cum Laude honors, and B.A degrees in the disciplines of both History and Political Science. In his senior year at the College, Matt was presented with The Bishop Robert Smith award. This award is the highest honor given to a graduating senior and represents valued contributions in academics, sports, and leadership within the Charleston community.
Throughout his studies at Charleston, Matt was focused on making the practice of law his next path in life after graduation. However, when his embarrassingly awful Law School Admission Test results arrived in the mail the summer before his senior year, he began to meticulously reflect on his early childhood in an effort to find a renewed sense of purpose for his adult life.
During this process of personal evaluation at the beginning of his senior year at CofC, Matt could not ignore the magical impact movies, television, characters, and storytelling had upon his youth. Moments like exiting a dilapidated movie theater while crying inconsolably after experiencing E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982). Or times spent as a tiny kid running around his parent's home in purple-dyed underwear, smashing couches while watching The Incredible Hulk (1978) on TV.
Through this process of searching his past to find a path towards his future, Matt slowly began to clearly define his purpose for his adult life. For the next journey in his life after college, Matt wanted to make his own indelible mark on the hearts and minds of audiences across the world from all walks of life through the power of storytelling.
In an effort to pursue this intention and purpose, nearly immediately after graduating from the College of Charleston, Matt filled his crappy car with everything he owned, put his awful Law School Admission Test scores in the rear view mirror, and embarked upon a westward journey from his childhood home in Johnson City Tennessee to Los Angeles California.
Since graduating from The College of Charleston in 1999 and making the cross country journey to Los Angeles, Matt has worked on projects such as Gilmore Girls (2000), the two time Emmy nominated and Peabody winning series, The Good Wife (2009), and his current show on Fox, The Resident (2018), where Matt plays the title character.
Throughout his acting career from 1999-present, Matt has worked alongside Oscar winners, Tony Winners, and Emmy winners. And during that time Czuchry has found a way to make his own indelible mark on the arts. For his work on The Resident (2018), Czuchry was honored in 2020 with the Entertainment Weekly/SCAD Maverick Award. The Resident (2018) has also been nominated for two Teen Choice awards, and Matt has been nominated for three Teen Choice awards for his work as Logan Huntzberger in the series Gilmore Girls (2000). For his work on The Good Wife (2009) (where ironically Matt played a lawyer with exceptional Law School Admission Test scores) he was nominated for three consecutive Screen Actors Guild Ensemble awards in 2011, 2012, 2013, he won the Entertainment Weekly Best Supporting Actor award in 2011, and Czuchry was also selected to both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety magazine's prestigious Emmy Contenders list for 2015.
Czuchry's Charleston education came to a pinnacle in 2018 when he gave the commencement address to that year's College of Charleston graduating class. His commencement address was noted in Teen Vogue as one of the standout speeches of 2018 along with Oprah Winfrey and Apple CEO Tim Cook. That same year the College of Charleston recognized Matt with an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. This humbling honor completed Matt's journey from college graduate with crap LSAT scores and an unclear path forward, to an established actor contributing on the highest level to the arts.As Rory's boyfriend Logan on The Gilmore Girls. Now apparently he is on the show the good wife...maybe some one in Hollywood is reading these lists. :) He is American.- Actor

Born in Illinois and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas, Foster knew from an early age that he wanted to be an actor. He grew up just outside of Chicago until he was 12 years old, where his family lived on a farm and he was home schooled. When Foster's older sisters started to dabble in theatre he immediately became interested in the entertainment industry. Soon after moving to Dallas with his family he chose theatre as an elective in middle school, pursued the arts in high school, and went on to study at the Quad C Theatre Program at Collin County Community College. In 2004 Foster decided to make the big move to Los Angeles. Once in LA, Foster joined an acting class, met his manager, and started booking commercials. In 2005 he landed several independent films, and in 2007 he booked what would become his regular acting gig for the next five years: a series regular role starring as "Cappie" on the hit series "Greek" for ABC Family. While putting in time on "Greek" Foster wrote, produced, and starred in his own script that he sold to Comedy Central entitled "Neighbros." The show sold in the fall of 2010 for fall's 2011 pilot season. Although the experience of putting together a show was something Foster loved, he decided to put all side projects on hold and focus on booking new acting roles. By the time "Greek" had ended its run in 2011 Foster had made his mark at ABC through his work on the show, and his relationship with the network would continue to grow over the next several years. Foster went on to score a handful of guest star roles including appearances on: TNT's "The Closer," NBC's "Friends with Benefits," "Law and Order: LA," and "Parenthood," and ABC Family's "Melissa & Joey." He also held a recurring role on "Quarterlife" for NBC and starred in the 2009 fan favorite independent feature TEENAGE DIRTBAG. In 2012 Foster had the opportunity to play characters that were far from the happy go lucky teen he portrayed on "Greek." First, he was seen in 10 episodes of the hit Showtime series Californication (2007) starring opposite David Duchovny as "Tyler," and went on to play "Jonas Beckett" in five episodes of ABC's Emmy Nominated series "The River." Soon after filming "The River," ABC enlisted Foster once again, casting him in "Zero Hour" [2013] opposite Anthony Edwards, Jacinda Barrett, Addison Timlin, and Carmen Ejogo. When not acting Foster is an active supporter of The Sue Weaver Cause, an organization that promotes consumer awareness of unsafe service employment - their quest is to require proper annual criminal background checks on all workers sent to people's homes. Foster is also a musician, making music for over nine years and released an EP in 2009 with his band Siren's Eye. He recently became a certified scuba diver, and currently lives in the Los Angeles area with his two dogs, Oliver and Charlie. If you watched Greek then you know that Scott played Cappie. If not see Misha Collins. He is American.- Actor

David Matthew Macfadyen was born in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, to Meinir (Owen), a drama teacher and actress, and Martin Macfadyen, an oil executive. He is of Scottish and Welsh descent. Because of his father's career, he spent at least part of his childhood in Indonesia, before finishing his education back in England and winning a place at RADA in 1992. He won critical acclaim in the UK with his work with the stage company Cheek By Jowl in the 1990s and was well established as a stage actor when he made his first TV appearance in Wuthering Heights (1998). A couple more TV roles followed but it was his role as Tom Quinn, head of Section D, in the hit BBC series MI-5 (2002) that really made his name at home. And, indeed, established his home - he met his wife, Keeley Hawes, while working on the show. A steady stream of TV and film work followed, with his performance as Mr Darcy in Pride & Prejudice (2005) firmly establishing his name worldwide.Ditto to Simon Woods and the Austen freaks... Thomas Dekker is a 30 year veteran of the film and television industry. At the age of 5, he landed a national commercial and a brief stint on the soap opera "The Young and the Restless". This lead to a slew of guest starring and recurring roles on popular television series of the time such as "Seinfeld", "ER" and "The Nanny" before he landed his first leading role in John Carpenter's 1995 film "Village of the Damned" opposite the late Christopher Reeve. It was this experience at the age of 6 that cemented Dekker's love and commitment to acting and placed him squarely in line with science fiction and genre fare. Concurrent with performances in both the feature film "Star Trek: Generations" and the TV series "Star Trek: Voyager", Dekker also began work as a voice actor. He would eventually play the voice of Littlefoot in "The Land Before Time" film series and Feivel in "An American Tail" film series, both for Universal Studios. At the age of 9, he was cast in his first series regular role as Nick Szalinski on Disney's "Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show", which ran for 3 seasons from 1997 to 2000. Immediately following the series, Dekker played the lead role of Jason Calloway in FOX's unaired comedy pilot "The No. 1 Show" co-starring Tina Fey and directed by SNL's Beth McCarthy Miller.
In 2006, Dekker landed the role of Zac, best friend to Hayden Panettiere's cheerleader Claire, in the popular NBC show "Heroes". However, Dekker left the series mid season to portray the iconic character of John Connor on FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" opposite Lena Headey and Garret Dillahunt. The show was a critical and commercial success and garnered Dekker much praise for his sensitive, complex portrayal of the teen/future savior of the world. Between seasons of the series, Dekker played the romantic lead in Nick Cassavete's "My Sister's Keeper" alongside Cameron Diaz, Joan Cusack and Alec Baldwin and he wrote and directed the expressionist drama "Whore" starring Megan Fox, Lena Headey and Rumer Willis. Upon the completion of "Terminator" in 2010, Dekker had lead roles in the cult film "All About Evil" with Natasha Lyonne, New Line's "A Nightmare on Elm Street" opposite Rooney Mara and Jackie Earle Haley, Gaby Dellal's ensemble drama "Angel's Crest" with Mira Sorvino, Jeremy Piven and Elizabeth McGovern and Gregg Araki's festival breakout "Kaboom" co-starring Haley Bennett, Roxane Mesquida and Juno Temple. The film was the first to receive the Queer Palm at Cannes and was a national sensation in France.
After receiving accolades at Toronto, Deauville, BFI London, San Francisco, Tribeca and Sundance Film Festivals, Dekker won the coveted role of the legendary Lance Loud in HBO's "Cinema Verite", a biopic about the Louds, the first family to receive a reality TV show based on their lives in the 1970s. The Emmy nominated film was directed by Berman & Pulcini and co-starred Diane Lane, Tim Robbins, Patrick Fugit and the late James Gandolfini. Following this, Dekker returned to television as the male lead in Kevin WIlliamson's supernatural series "The Secret Circle" for the CW before continuing more film work with the festival hit "Enter the Dangerous Mind" starring Jake Hoffman and Nikki Reed, Catherine Hardwicke's erotic thriller "Plush" (which he also co-scored), "Squatters" with Gabriella Wilde, Luke Grimes and Richard Dreyfuss and "Lost in the White City", a Tel Aviv set drama co-starring Haley Bennett.
In 2014, Dekker began his role as Rainn WIlson's right hand man "Valentine" on FOX's dark comedy crime series "Backstrom" from "Bones" creator Hart Hanson. Following the series, Dekker pivoted his attention back to his writing/directing interests and made his second feature film "Jack Goes Home", a semi-autobiographical thriller starring Rory Culkin, Lin Shaye and Britt Robertson. Next, Dekker made a cameo in Catherine Hardwicke's "Miss Bala" starring Gina Rodriguez and Ismael Cruz Cordova and appeared in "Body Brokers" with Melissa Leo, Michael K.
