Really kicks in in the 3rd season.
Looks dated and has it's fair share of weak episodes (mainly in S. 1,2 + 5) but overall one of the most genius epic stories out there on film.
Some of the best characters in stories with scope.

Awful theme song and has a bunch of unconvincing depictions (like Hoshi the super genius interpreter) and bad episodes.
But in this mixture of stand alones and arc episodes you can skip the turds and watch nice looking, entertaining Sci-Fi.
