For some reason I thought that Phillip Seymor Hoffman was in this. I have never liked Owen Wilson in any film...ever. He was always the guy I had to sit through until the movie continued. I also was unaware that Woody Allen had any part of this film. Apparently I thought I was watching a totally different movie before it started. I do think that i enjoyed it more not knowing what it was about going into it. I found it to be highly entertaining sparked by the woody allenness 8/10

if the first 50 minutes was only 20, we're looking at one of the top films ever made. since the first 50 minutes was indeed 50 minutes of dragging backstory that was more than unnecessary, we arent even looking at the best film of the year. Its upsetting becauser the rest of the movie was thoroughly enjoyable. all the side stories, the battle scenes, all of it beautiful to watch. sad that they felt the need to create something that had no purpose to the film. around an 8/10
