Its the Bond movie that set the tone for the rest of the other movies! This was James Bond's third movie and the franchise really skyrocketed! To me this is the best and always will be! It was one of the first Bond movies I ever saw too!

2. Casino Royale (2006)

Votes: 694,856 | Gross: $167.45M

Now I really was mesmorized in theaters when I saw this one! I thought Daniel Craig's performance was superb! A lot of people thought he would not pull it off, but he did! He makes one hell of a badass Bond I think! Its a different take on the character.

3. Skyfall (2012)

This is the best one now in my opinion! It is an absolutely brilliant Bond movie!

4. From Russia with Love (1963)

James Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E.

Director: Terence Young | Stars: Sean Connery, Robert Shaw, Lotte Lenya, Daniela Bianchi

Votes: 145,426 | Gross: $24.80M

This is the 2nd Bond movie! I starts out a little slow, but the story builds up and it gets good!! I really loved the fight scene between Connery and Robert Shaw on the train.

5. Dr. No (1962)

PG | 110 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

78 Metascore

A resourceful British government agent seeks answers in a case involving the disappearance of a colleague and the disruption of the American space program.

Director: Terence Young | Stars: Sean Connery, Ursula Andress, Bernard Lee, Joseph Wiseman

Votes: 179,486 | Gross: $16.07M

I would feel bad if I didn't rank this one in my top 10 because this is the very first Bond movie! It may not have all the quality that we come to know in the upcoming years, but its a good one.

6. Live and Let Die (1973)

PG | 121 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

55 Metascore

James Bond is sent to stop a diabolically brilliant heroin magnate armed with a complex organisation and a reliable psychic tarot card reader.

Director: Guy Hamilton | Stars: Roger Moore, Yaphet Kotto, Jane Seymour, Clifton James

Votes: 115,533 | Gross: $35.38M

I really love this one because of it was one of the first ones that I ever saw. I love the music and the classic boat chase through the everglades! Its filled with a lot of action and a good story too. Also a good villian. This was Roger Moores first Bond movie and he kind of rebooted the franchise!

7. The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)

Votes: 116,308 | Gross: $46.80M

Some say that this was Roger Moore's best Bond movie and I would agree with them! I loved the submarine car, Jaws, and the beautiful Bond girl! Its filled with a lot of action and a good story! I also loved the theme song as well!

8. GoldenEye (1995)

PG-13 | 130 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

Director: Martin Campbell | Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Sean Bean, Izabella Scorupco, Famke Janssen

Votes: 270,312 | Gross: $106.60M

A few of my friends say that this is actually their favorite Bond movie! I can't blame them! Its one of my favorites as well. I think Brosnan was born to play James Bond from the start.

9. Licence to Kill (1989)

PG-13 | 133 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

58 Metascore

A vengeful James Bond goes rogue to infiltrate and take down the organization of a drug lord who has murdered his friend's new wife and left him near death.

Director: John Glen | Stars: Timothy Dalton, Robert Davi, Carey Lowell, Talisa Soto

Votes: 112,135 | Gross: $34.67M

A lot of people in the late 80's did not like Timothy Dalton, but a lot of them do now! I think he is sort of like Daniel Craig because he was serious like he was! Every time I watch this one, I enjoy it even more. It was Dalton's 2nd and last Bond movie. I very much enjoyed both of Timothy Dalton's Bond films! This was the first time we see 007 go rogue and go after a gangster for revenge. Its also darker and grittier. I think this one was ahead of its time because of how dark it was and more violent.

10. Spectre (I) (2015)

PG-13 | 148 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

60 Metascore

A cryptic message from James Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover the existence of a sinister organisation named SPECTRE. With a new threat dawning, Bond learns the terrible truth about the author of all his pain in his most recent missions.

Director: Sam Mendes | Stars: Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz, Léa Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes

Votes: 466,428 | Gross: $200.07M

Daniel Craig's fourth outing and possibly his last. That is what they make you wonder at the end. It has a great opening sequence, a good story, and great action. But it gets a little weak in the third act. I still very much enjoyed it though. Overall, its an excellent Bond film!

11. For Your Eyes Only (1981)

54 Metascore

Director: John Glen | Stars: Roger Moore, Carole Bouquet, Topol, Lynn-Holly Johnson

Votes: 108,336 | Gross: $62.30M

This is a very good one! I really enjoyed the theme song as well. It has a solid story and it was one of Roger Moore most serious ones!

12. You Only Live Twice (1967)

PG | 117 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

61 Metascore

James Bond and the Japanese Secret Service must find and stop the true culprit of a series of space hijackings, before war is provoked between Russia and the United States.

Director: Lewis Gilbert | Stars: Sean Connery, Akiko Wakabayashi, Mie Hama, Tetsurô Tanba

Votes: 117,597 | Gross: $43.08M

This one is a classic!! This was going to be Sean Connery last movie before Lazenby took over. It had the secret fortress under the volcano and for the first time we see Blofeld! I think this was Connery's last great Bond film. Diamonds Are Forever and Never Say Never Again were cheesy, but I consider those Bond films to be fun ones.

13. Thunderball (1965)

PG | 130 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

64 Metascore

James Bond heads to the Bahamas to recover two nuclear warheads stolen by S.P.E.C.T.R.E. Agent Emilio Largo in an international extortion scheme.

Director: Terence Young | Stars: Sean Connery, Claudine Auger, Adolfo Celi, Luciana Paluzzi

Votes: 127,156 | Gross: $63.60M

This is another classic Bond movie! The thing that I didn't like about this one was the underwater action! It kind of goes slow. But the story was really good though. I also feel like it didn't have enough action in it. Its a solid Bond movie! I'll say this, its not the best, but it certainly isn't the worst. I really loved the opening sequence to it though.

14. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)

PG | 142 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

61 Metascore

British agent James Bond goes undercover to pursue the villainous Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who is planning to hold the world to ransom.

Director: Peter R. Hunt | Stars: George Lazenby, Diana Rigg, Telly Savalas, Gabriele Ferzetti

Votes: 99,496 | Gross: $22.80M

I saw this one a few months ago, and I have to say I was wrong about this Bond movie! It is different though, but its got a good story to it. It also starts out kind of slow, but the story builds up and the ending will make you cry! We actually see James Bond fall in love and get married. Then she gets killed. It really made me feel for the character. It was touching. George Lazenby wasn't half bad either.I think if he did more, people would have liked him even better. He was not a bad Bond at all. Every time I watch this one now I like it even more. I consider it to be a classic. Its now become one of my favorite Bond movies.

15. The Living Daylights (1987)

PG | 130 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

59 Metascore

James Bond is sent to investigate a KGB policy to kill all enemy spies, and uncovers an arms deal that potentially has major global ramifications.

Director: John Glen | Stars: Timothy Dalton, Maryam d'Abo, Jeroen Krabbé, Joe Don Baker

Votes: 105,894 | Gross: $51.19M

This was Dalton's first Bond movie and its a solid one! It has a good story but maybe a weak villian though. Dalton was more of a serious Bond and I liked that about him. I feel like both of his films are underrated. Back then in the 80s people were still used to the camp that Roger Moore brought in some of his movies and they liked that. Timothy Dalton was basically trying to be like the James Bond in the novels kind of like how Daniel Craig is.

16. Die Another Day (2002)

PG-13 | 133 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

56 Metascore

James Bond is sent to investigate the connection between a North Korean terrorist and a diamond mogul, who is funding the development of an international space weapon.

Director: Lee Tamahori | Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, Rosamund Pike, Toby Stephens

Votes: 229,245 | Gross: $160.94M

I really don't understand all the hate on this movie! Its the lowest rated Bond movie on IMDB! I really enjoyed this one. I wish Pierce did at least one more Bond movie! I guess its like some people love Moonraker, which I do too! its just I found that one to be the cheesyest! I would say that this one is Brosnan's second best Bond film!

17. Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)

PG-13 | 119 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

52 Metascore

James Bond sets out to stop a media mogul's plan to induce war between China and the UK in order to obtain exclusive global media coverage.

Director: Roger Spottiswoode | Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Jonathan Pryce, Michelle Yeoh, Teri Hatcher

Votes: 204,745 | Gross: $125.33M

Another solid Bond film! This was actually the first Bond movie I saw in theaters and I very much enjoyed it! But I have to say that its Brosnan's weakest. I mean I just find it a bit extreme that a media mongul wants to start a war just so he can get rights to more multimedia. But I did enjoy the action though.

18. The World Is Not Enough (1999)

PG-13 | 128 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

57 Metascore

James Bond uncovers a nuclear plot while protecting an oil heiress from her former kidnapper, an international terrorist who can't feel pain.

Director: Michael Apted | Stars: Pierce Brosnan, Sophie Marceau, Robert Carlyle, Denise Richards

Votes: 210,031 | Gross: $126.94M

This is another solid Bond movie! I think this is Brosnan's third best. It had a good story to it and I thought the acting was very good as well. This was also the guy who played Q, last Bond movie.

19. The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)

PG | 125 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

43 Metascore

James Bond is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder.

Director: Guy Hamilton | Stars: Roger Moore, Christopher Lee, Britt Ekland, Maud Adams

Votes: 113,123 | Gross: $20.97M

In other polls, people say that this is one of their least favorites which I don't know why. I thought it was quite genuine! Christopher Lee played a great villian and I loved the car chase in this one, especially when the flip it in mid air and lands perfectly! Some people find this one campy or cheesy, but I don't.

20. Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

PG | 120 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

59 Metascore

A diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas where he uncovers an evil plot involving a rich business tycoon.

Director: Guy Hamilton | Stars: Sean Connery, Jill St. John, Charles Gray, Lana Wood

Votes: 114,194 | Gross: $43.82M

This one I kind of felt like it was campy. I still like it though and think its a solid Bond movie. But there were somethings I did not like about it though. Like after On Her Majesty's Secret Service, James Bond doesn't seem to be grieving very much for his wife which Blofeld killed. We don't see the vunerabilty that he should have had after his wife got killed. I consider this one to be a fun one though. I still enjoy it every time I see it.

21. Quantum of Solace (2008)

PG-13 | 106 min | Action, Adventure, Mystery

58 Metascore

James Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop a mysterious organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.

Director: Marc Forster | Stars: Daniel Craig, Olga Kurylenko, Mathieu Amalric, Judi Dench

Votes: 470,964 | Gross: $168.37M

After seeing this one a few times, I've grown to like it even more. Not that I didn't like it the first time, its just that it disappointed me after Casino Royale was so good! I felt like this one was rushed and incomplete. It doesn't feel like your average or ordinary Bond movie either. Its one of my least favorites. The reason why it was rushed though was because of the writers strike. It could have been a lot better Bond movie.

22. Moonraker (1979)

PG | 126 min | Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi

66 Metascore

James Bond investigates the mid-air theft of a space shuttle, and discovers a plot to commit global genocide.

Director: Lewis Gilbert | Stars: Roger Moore, Lois Chiles, Michael Lonsdale, Richard Kiel

Votes: 108,837 | Gross: $70.31M

Some people say this is the worst Bond movie ever made. I actually enjoyed it though. I mean I know its a bit extreme to have Bond in space, but I think its a fun one.

23. Octopussy (1983)

PG | 131 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

63 Metascore

A fake Fabergé egg recovered from the body of a fellow agent leads James Bond to uncover a jewel smuggling operation led by the mysterious Octopussy, and a plot to blow up a NATO air base.

Director: John Glen | Stars: Roger Moore, Maud Adams, Louis Jourdan, Kristina Wayborn

Votes: 113,024 | Gross: $67.90M

After seeing this again, I quite enjoyed it! It is a little campy, but I like it. I consider this one to be a fun one.

24. A View to a Kill (1985)

PG | 131 min | Action, Adventure, Thriller

40 Metascore

The recovery of a microchip from the body of a fellow British secret agent leads James Bond to a mad industrialist scheming to cause massive destruction.

Director: John Glen | Stars: Roger Moore, Christopher Walken, Tanya Roberts, Grace Jones

Votes: 104,954 | Gross: $50.33M

I think Roger Moores last Bond movie should have been For Your Eyes Only or Octopussy! By the time he did this one, he looked like he was getting long in the tooth. This was another just an okay Bond movie. But Christopher Walken did do a good job as the villian. But I think the story was kind of lame. I actually feel like this one is the cheesest Bond movie.
