I am not an X-Men fan. But this movie really stood out to me because of the acting and plot. The directing and editing was also very good. Dramatic, but appropriately so.

Danny Elfman is a favorite of mine. His score is so memorable. The story, albeit a bit sad, is very good and from the unique imagination of one of my favorite directors, Tim Burton.

Great beginning to the series, and a really fun version of the popular ride. I love the score.
