- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryRobert ShawLotte LenyaJames Bond willingly falls into an assassination plot involving a naive Russian beauty in order to retrieve a Soviet encryption device that was stolen by the organization Spectre.James Bond returns for what is still one of the all time best. One powerhouse action sequence after another, a solid and compelling plot, crackling dialogue, menacing villains, cool gadgets and beautiful women. Sean Connery is as lovable and lethal as ever as our favorite super spy and he's up against SPECTRE, a secret criminal organization vying for world domination. Besides walking into an obvious trap that a beautiful Russian agent is involved in to obtain a stolen encryption machine, he is dogged by a mysterious assassin played by Robert Shaw. Easily one of the best the series has to offer and a masterpiece.

- DirectorTerence YoungStarsSean ConneryUrsula AndressBernard LeeA resourceful British government agent seeks answers in a case involving the disappearance of a colleague and the disruption of the American space program. The very first film in the series and it stands on its own two feet very well and has aged like fine wine. Sean Connery is compelling, suave, sexy and tough as James Bond 007, a British secret agent assigned to investigate the death of another agent in Jamaica. The action, music, plot and visual style are all spot on. Joseph Wiseman is chilling as Dr. No and Ursula Andress is incredibly sexy as Honey Ryder. All in all it's just a great spy thriller and the start of great things to come.

- DirectorMarc ForsterStarsDaniel CraigOlga KurylenkoMathieu AmalricJames Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop an organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.
- DirectorLee TamahoriStarsPierce BrosnanHalle BerryRosamund PikeJames Bond is sent to investigate the connection between a North Korean terrorist and a diamond mogul, who is funding the development of an international space weapon. There's an interesting story involving Bond being captured, tortured and having his license to kill revoked having him set out to right wrongs on his own, inventive visuals, fun action and Pierce Brosnan gives a fine performance as Bond, but somewhere along the way it gets really absurd. Halle Berry has horrible lines, there's a DNA replacement therapy, an invisible car and so on. It's a pretty good Bond film but it's weird. My favorite part is Q being played by John Cleese.
- DirectorJohn GlenStarsRoger MooreChristopher WalkenTanya RobertsThe recovery of a microchip from the body of a fellow British secret agent leads James Bond to a mad industrialist scheming to cause massive destruction.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsRoger MooreChristopher LeeBritt EklandJames Bond is targeted by the world's most expensive assassin, while he attempts to recover sensitive solar cell technology that is being sold to the highest bidder.Another fine mess. Roger Moore's second outing as Bond had a lot of potential but was marred by the fact that the film can't decide what it wants to be. Does it want to be a campy self parody, a "save the world" adventure, or a cat and mouse thriller? How about all three? The confused tone, meandering plot and dragging ending sink an otherwise potentially great film. Roger Moore does a fine job still and Christopher Lee is highly memorable as the titular villain.
- DirectorGuy HamiltonStarsSean ConneryJill St. JohnCharles GrayA diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas where he uncovers an evil plot involving a rich business tycoon.Beyond being incredibly campy, painfully goofy and at times childishly vulgar, it's just a mess. The story is all over the place, the villains are sub par and the Bond girl goes from being a pretty feisty and clever character to a bumbling idiot towards the end. The only major highlights are the pre-title sequence and theme song and Sean Connery as Bond.
