33 GREAT Movies I watched and recommend

by leocgb-487-424495 | created - 27 Sep 2012 | updated - 10 Sep 2016 | Public

These are one of the best movies I've watched since I started to like cinema. There were several movies important for me but I tried to prepare the ones that were the most remarkable from my favorite directors like Paul Thomas Anderson, David Lynch, Lars von Trier, Sergio Leone and many others. There are still plenty of movies for me to watch but I hope you enjoy it! The first 20 are the ones I like most with no particular order. The last 10 are honorable mentions.

This movie was truly one of the best one I’ve ever watched. The way that Paul Thomas Anderson created his characters and how they interacted with each other showing their feelings is very strong. The metaphor at the ending is incredible and you have to have an open mind to feel it.

It impressed me how the things fit on this puzzle about destroyed dreams and loves. It’s also nihilistic, lyrical and really scary. Only David Lynch could create an environment like that.

Votes: 823,664 | Gross: $106.95M

The way that the music of the Black Swan's play interacts with the drama in the screen, especially in the ending is just true cinema. The best movie I've watched in the last years. Darren Aronofsky presented us a modern opera that can only be explained if you watch it.

Votes: 158,533 | Gross: $1.53M

Any way you think about this movie and try an interpretation it will always somehow show that the director is right. The human nature tends to be really bad sometimes and Lars von Trier ironically showed us that. A really impressing script, maybe the best ever written for the big screen.

Wes Anderson's movies are not for everyone but I love all his movies.
