Questions We Want Answered in "Stranger Things" Season 23 of 10
How much should we read into whatever slithered out of Will's throat?
While in the nest in the Upside Down, it appears Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) was used as a host to incubate a new demon spawn. The final moments of Season 1 saw him cough up a slimy slug — proving you can take the boy out of the Upside Down, but you can’t take the Upside Down out of the boy. (Good news for arachnophobes: Early versions of the Season 1 scripts had spiders crawling out of folks in the Upside Down; they were scrapped for other CGI creatures.)
It's clear that the residual effects from Will's outing will be a key storyline in Season 2, and we're curious to what extent.
