Working With Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon
Joss Whedon took over finishing Justice League after Zack Snyder had to leave the director’s chair following a family tragedy. Affleck asserted that the finished film is very much Snyder’s vision.
“The movie is Zack’s DNA — he cast the movie and designed the movie,” explained Affleck. “We were fortunate that — when Zack was unable to continue — we got a guy who’s very accomplished in his own way, particularly in this genre, and he sprinkled some of his fairy dust on our movie and finished it.
"I don’t think there’s any way to go back and say: 'That’s a Joss scene, that’s a Zack scene.' They were both working together toward a common goal."
