Famous Faces on "The Walking Dead" (Season 6)!
Still reeling from the deaths of Reg and Pete, Rick and the group devise a plan to lure a massive herd of walkers away from Alexandria, but a new development puts the entire community at risk. Rick and the survivors find a quarry with thousands of walkers blocked by heavy trucks, and he begins to plan how to take them far from their community. Rick is supported by Deanna but the reluctant Carter unsuccessfully plots a scheme against him. While training the group, one of the trucks falls off the cliff letting the walkers escape and the plan needs to be immediately put into action without much preparation. Daryl on his motorcycle and Sasha and Abraham in a car herd the walkers through the road to a distant point far from Alexandria. Will Rick's plan work?

Since her minor role in the movie Vice, Vanessa Dimitropoulos (legal and maiden name) has stepped away from acting in order to focus on the larger life roles which acting led her to experience. She is the founder of The Escaped Goat, a campaign with the mission to reform psychological abuse laws and educate law enforcement on the epidemic of an abuse that leaves no broken bones or bruises. Her journey to advocate stemmed from an all too common story of being discredited by someone close, leading to false stories to the police. Vanessa has dedicated her time to interviewing victims and pursuing collaborations with the goal of generating not only awareness, but change. She believes that psychological abuse laws need to be treated with the same criminal prosecution as physical and sexual abuse, and that The United States needs to catch up to the progressive psychological abuse reforms implemented by the UK, France, Ireland, and Scotland.
Vanessa grew up in Paramount, CA and received her BA in Communications from Chapman University. She then owned and operated a children's dance company in San Diego with a student base of 300. While still actively involved in her company, and after a short stint as the bartender on San Clemente Island located 80 miles off the coast of Southern California, Vanessa moved to Rota, Spain, where she frequently traveled, wrote the children's book Spotty Dotty (self-published in 2018 with illustrator Zelda Vinciguerra), and worked as a Library Technician. Her next adventure brought her to New Orleans, just a few days after the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. At the time, NOLA was a major Film & TV hub, giving Vanessa the opportunity to follow her heart and finally pursue the career she had wanted since a child. She also became a real estate agent, worked at Cineworks post production facility, and eventually started her own video successful audition taping service as well as Shoot My Reel; a demo reel service for actors in need of footage in order obtain representation. Before leaving New Orleans for Los Angeles during The Big Short's Oscar nomination and ultimate win, Vanessa produced two web-series and a short film, the latter of which won Best Drama at the Louisiana International Film Festival.
Vanessa has not completely left the Film and TV industry. She is the producing a feature film and developing a media company which will showcase interviews, PSA's, and video books revolving around the subject of narcissistic abuse. When she is not producing, writing, advocating, or studying the martial arts form Krav Maga, Vanessa spends her time dancing, traveling, creating entrepreneurial concepts, and continuing her spiritual journey. The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 5

Ethan Embry was born Ethan Philan Randall on June 13, 1978, in Huntington Beach, California, to Karen and Charles Randall. Before he started acting in movies, Ethan appeared in more than 100 TV and radio commercials. In 1991, at the age of 13, he appeared in three films and has continued acting ever since. On average, Ethan released or filmed at least two films per year, which continued up until 1999, when he filmed about five films.
Ethan spent most of his childhood in Southern California growing up with his older brother, Aaron (said to be one of the best musicians in LA), and his little sister, Kessia. In 1998, he bought a home of his own.
In the fall of 1999, Ethan co-starred as Sebastian in the short-lived CBS sitcom Work with Me (1999). Sadly, due to a lack of ratings, the show ended after only four episodes. 1999, however, did bring a happy event; Ethan's then-wife, Amelinda Smith, gave birth to their first child, whom they named Cogeian, after the Latin word "cogeo," which means "to think over."
In the fall of 2000, Ethan starred as Derek Barnes in FreakyLinks (2000) on FOX. Thirteen episodes were shot, but the series was soon canceled after its debut. Later success includes a role as Detective Frank Smith on Dick Wolf's remake of the classic series Dragnet (2003), a part in the recent cult classic Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004), and a guest-starring role in the series Numb3rs (2005).
He has been married to actresses Amelinda Smith, with whom he has one child, and Sunny Mabrey."Carter"

John Carroll Lynch was born August 1, 1963 in Boulder, Colorado, and was raised in Denver. It was there John found a passion for acting and became a Denver Broncos fan. He graduated in the mid-80s with a B.F.A. in theatre from the The Catholic University of America / Hartke Theatre Acting program. From then, he continued to work in theatre around the country, but concentrated mostly on his work at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, acting in many plays from Shakespeare to Shaw to Chekhov. In the early nineties, John was able to find time away from the theatre to work in film, as productions came through Minnesota. In 1996, he received critical acclaim for his role as Marge Gunderson's simple husband Norm Gunderson in Fargo (1996). He went on to make two more films that year, both of which were conveniently set in Minnesota, the acclaimed Beautiful Girls (1996) and Feeling Minnesota (1996). Since then, John's film career has been on an amazing climb. Much like other well respected actors from the theatre, such as John Malkovich and Gary Sinise, he chooses to play very interesting and diverse roles."Eastman"

Ashley started acting in August 2009. She decided to take an acting class with a theater acting coach to help introduce her to this life long dream she never had the opportunity to try before. After a few weeks, Ashley knew this was a career she wanted for herself. She started researching for talent agencies but came across a few extras casting director websites. She applied and a short time later she was cast as an extra in her first feature film "The Mechanic".
Ashley loved every minute being on set. Studying the professional actors, being on set, and working with other extras was all a new experience. She learned a lot from fellow extras about "the biz". She was able to find acting workshops and eventually signed with her first agency in Louisiana. She followed with working as an extra on other features such as "The Green Lantern" and "Legendary". After the features were wrapped it was time to look forward to the next acting step.
Ashley started researching once again and came across a new-to-the-area local producer wanting to start a new cable show. She was asked to be 1 of the 3 co-hosts for the show called "Wet County" where local companies could inform future customers about their businesses. The show also informed locals about fun things to do around town. Ashley loved the chance to learn yet another new skill. This interviewing opportunity taught Ashley how to be in front of a camera.
Soon after season 1 of "Wet County" wrapped Ashley had auditioned for a local commercial and was hired. She filmed the commercial in impressive amount of time and was also asked to record a radio commercial for the company.
Ashley relocated to a new state and went straight to work looking for auditions. She found an audition for a local independent film. The audition allowed her to meet a great group of filmmakers and felt welcomed to the area.
Soon after she saw an audition for a "20-something college student, history teachers assistant" for a new web project. Ashley submitted for the project and received an audition. Soon after, she was cast for the role of Christina Duval in the web series "A Perfect Union".
The local film society has offered many opportunities to work with different filmmakers. In July 2011 she was given the chance to work in two short films that were accepted to a 7-day Film Festival. "The 9th Door" she was cast as Nurse Jackie (an element character all the films had to include to participate in the festival) and "Archer & Slade and the Antlers of Gold". Ashley was able to give the character Jackie a whole personality different than any other character she had portrayed before.
Ashley has signed with new talent agencies and continues to expand her acting abilities. Always studying and improving, Ashley embraces all the opportunities as creative new experiences. The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 1

LaBrandon Shead is an artist to be on the lookout for. Through his acting, he has discovered what he has wanted to give to the world, to empower, inspire and thrill the world through art. LaBrandon pursues truth in all that he does and attributes much of his creativity to his upbringing.
As a kid, he knew nothing about the art form of acting. All he knew was how thrilled he would get when he would make my parents laugh. Most of his creativity came from simply watching his parents interact with one another. His parents had a way of smiling through even the more tough times growing up. He became more optimistic in that light.
Born in Denver, Colorado and being a part of a close knit family, LaBrandon developed a strong work ethic early in life. Many of these early years were spent working alongside his father Mack Shead in their family restaurant M&D's. LaBrandon discovered what hard work was working at a early age. Family life was always light and full of support. Entering high school, LaBrandon understood the importance of a meaningful education, but predominantly growing up in a sports oriented family, he took to sports naturally. Not until LaBrandon's last year in high school did he discover his immense passion for acting performing a "Steve Urkel" skit in a talent show.
After graduation, LaBrandon attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. As a fine arts major, and began fine tuning his work in stage productions. Any opportunity that emerged in an audition, LaBrandon was there. Training under professional actors, changed the way LaBrandon approached his work. LaBrandon then decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his passion.
With a solid work ethic LaBrandon landed his first lead role in the legendary producer Roger Cormans movie "Stealing Las Vegas" directed by Francisco Menendez. The Walking Dead: Season 6, Episode 2

Melissa Suzanne McBride (born May 23, 1965) is an American actress and former casting director, best known for her role as Carol Peletier on the AMC series The Walking Dead. McBride has garnered critical acclaim and received multiple awards and nominations for her role on the show.
McBride was born in Lexington, Kentucky to parents John Leslie McBride and Suzanne Lillian (née Sagley) (1937-2018). Her father owned his own business, and her mother studied at the historic Pasadena Playhouse. She had three siblings: John Michael (1957-1990), Neil Allen (1960-2008), and Melanie Suzanne (1962-2012).
McBride began her acting career in 1991, appearing in several television commercials for clients such as Rooms To Go; she was also a spokeswoman for Ford. She made her series television debut in a 1993 episode of ABC legal drama series Matlock, and later guest-starred in several other television drama series, including In the Heat of the Night; American Gothic; Profiler; Walker, Texas Ranger; and Dawson's Creek. In the last, she played Nina - a film buff who charms Dawson after his breakup with Jen - in the Season 1 episode "Road Trip" (1998) - and in 2003 returned to the series finale playing a different character.
In the 1990s, McBride had supporting roles in several made-for-television movies, such as Her Deadly Rival (1995) opposite Annie Potts and Harry Hamlin, Close to Danger (1997) with Rob Estes, Any Place But Home (1997), and Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999). In 1996, she appeared on the CBS miniseries A Season in Purgatory, based on Dominick Dunne's eponymous 1993 novel. From 2000 to 2010, she worked as a film and commercial casting director in Atlanta, Georgia and starred in several short films. In 2007, director Frank Darabont cast McBride as the "woman with the kids at home" in the ensemble-cast science-fiction horror film The Mist, alongside Thomas Jane, Laurie Holden, and Marcia Gay Harden. McBride was in contention for a bigger role in the film but did not want to take a significant amount of time away from her job as a casting director. The following year, she appeared in the Lifetime television movie Living Proof.
McBride's earlier relationship with Darabont led him to cast her as Carol Peletier in the AMC television drama series The Walking Dead - her biggest role to date. Peletier is a mid-forties widow and caring mother to preteen Sophia, fighting to survive in a violent post-apocalyptic world populated with flesh-eating zombies and the few surviving humans, some of whom are diabolical and even more dangerous than the zombies themselves. McBride did not audition for the role, which she thought was temporary. She was a recurring cast member in Season 1 and was promoted to series regular for Season 2. McBride's name appeared in the opening credits sequence beginning with the first episode of Season 4. Carol was supposed to have been killed off in the episode "Killer Within", but the producers eventually had a change of plans.
As the series progresses, McBride's character develops from being weak and dependent, into a strong, cunning, and loyal warrior. The direction of her character is contrasted between the two media. In the comic series, Carol is much younger and exhibits a neurotic, self-centered, and naive demeanor. Throughout her time in the comics, she grows increasingly unstable to the point of being self-destructive. The television show differs in these regards, as she is shown to be a stern, pragmatic, and compassionate individual who has been gradually building inner strength. Producers of the series, Scott M. Gimple and Robert Kirkman, said in 2014 that "Carol is her own unique character; it would be a disservice to Melissa McBride to say she's evolved into the Carol from the comics. The Carol in the TV show is a wholly original creation that we'll continue to explore on the show to great effect. Everyone in the writers' room loves that character, and we're thrilled with what Melissa has brought to the table. She has definitely become a character that is one to watch, and there's some really exciting stuff ahead for her."
McBride has received critical acclaim for her performance as Carol and won positive reviews from critics during Seasons 3, 4, and 5. Many critics praised McBride's performance in the Season 4 episode centered on her character, "The Grove". Others singled out Carol's actions in the Season 5 premiere, "No Sanctuary", which earned critical praise and positive fan reception. Despite the praise of some critics and a fan campaign, McBride did not receive a nomination for the 2014 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. However, she won the 40th Annual Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television, and was nominated for the 2014 Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Season 4. In March 2015, McBride was nominated for a Fangoria Chainsaw Award for Best Leading Actress in a Television series, for her role as Carol. She once again won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television at the 41st Saturn Awards, for the second year in a row."Carol Peletier"

Sonequa Martin-Green (born March 21, 1985) is an American actress and producer. She is best known for her television role as Sasha Williams on The Walking Dead, a role she played from 2012 to 2017. Before that, she had starred in several independent films before gaining her first recurring role as Courtney Wells on The Good Wife. Later, she had recurring roles as Tamara in Once Upon a Time and Rhonda in New Girl. She plays the lead role as Michael Burnham in the television series Star Trek: Discovery.
Martin-Green was born in Russellville, Alabama. She has one sister and three older half-sisters. She had initially planned to become a psychologist before deciding to pursue a career in acting when she was in the tenth grade. On her decision to become an actor, she said, "I didn't know I was going to be an actor until I was 16. I thought I was going to be a psychologist, which is interesting because it's very similar to acting. I was fascinated with human behaviour and why people do what they do. I was in the middle of rehearsal in 10th grade when I had this epiphany. And so I got my theatre degree from the University of Alabama."
After graduating from the University of Alabama in 2007 with a degree in theatre, she relocated to New York City where she and her husband, Kenric, lived for five years before moving to California.
While known primarily for her television roles, Sonequa Martin-Green made her debut in film with various film roles since 2005. In 2009, she played the lead role of Tosha Spinner in Toe to Toe opposite Louisa Krause, the fiercely determined scholarship student who seeks to build a brighter future outside of Anacostia and away from one of Washington's poorest neighborhoods. The film focuses on her friendship and rivalry with Jessie (Louisa Krause), a privileged girl from Bethesda whose promiscuous tendencies threaten to become her undoing. They both strive to gain a better understanding of one another's plight as society threatens to drive them ever farther apart. The film received generally positive reviews, with Martin-Green's performance receiving critical acclaim, even from the film's detractors.
Martin-Green has had various guest and recurring roles in TV shows. She made her television debut in 2008, appearing on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent as Kiana Richmond. She then gained her first recurring role on Army Wives as Kanessa Jones the following year. In 2009, she received the role of Courtney Wells on The Good Wife, her first recurring role playing an adult character as opposed to playing a teenager with her previous roles in both film and television. She appeared on the show for two years before making two more appearances in Gossip Girl and NYC 22 in 2011.
In 2012, Sonequa Martin-Green was cast in a recurring role on The Walking Dead as Sasha, the sister of Tyreese (Chad Coleman), an original character, exclusive to the television series. Martin-Green auditioned for the role of Michonne albeit with a pseudonym due to the secrecy of the auditioning process. When Danai Gurira, whom Martin-Green said was "the perfect choice", was cast, former showrunner Glen Mazzara still wanted Martin-Green to be a part of the show and decided to create a role specifically for her instead. Martin-Green explained: "[Sasha] was supposed to be a recurring character and as we kept going forward, they picked up my option to be a regular. It's very rare and I'm still quite dumbfounded about it but Glen and I hit it off and I still appreciate him. He wanted to work with me and wrote Sasha for me." She was promoted to a series regular for season 4 with Emily Kinney and Coleman.
After auditioning for the role of Michonne, she read the first three volumes of the graphic novels in preparation for the television series. Knowing they were different, she chose not to continue reading the comic book series to avoid being aware of future storylines that may occur on the television series. Martin-Green's performance as Sasha, particularly in the fifth season and seventh season, has received favorable reviews.
After filming for the third season of The Walking Dead ended, Martin-Green was cast in the second season of Once Upon a Time playing the recurring role of Tamara, a woman determined to rid the world of magic. She returned briefly in the third season before returning to her regular role as Sasha on The Walking Dead. As of the first episode of sixth season, Martin-Green's name appears in the opening credits.
In December 2016, her role as the lead actor of Star Trek: Discovery as a lieutenant commander of the USS Discovery was made public. She debuted as First Officer Michael Burnham in "The Vulcan Hello" on September 24, 2017.
Martin-Green has been married to fellow actor Kenric Green since December 4, 2010. They met while acting together in the play, Fetch Clay, Make Man, at the McCarter Theater in Princeton, New Jersey. In 2015, in Los Angeles, Martin-Green gave birth to a boy named Kenric Justin Green II after his father. Martin-Green was pregnant during filming of the fifth season of The Walking Dead, which she covered up using thick layers and using larger guns. She and her husband are vegans.
Since April 2016, she has been an ambassador for Stand Up to Cancer, encouraging clinical trials, having a three-time cancer surviving mother and a sister with breast cancer."Sasha Williams"
