Award Contenders: Talking With Saoirse Ronan of 'Brooklyn'9 of 9
Your first IMDb credit was a television show called "The Clinic." What do you remember about the role?
I remember I didn’t know what my character name was because it was such a small part. I think they changed the character name at the last minute. So, I remember my mom and I went to the wrong trailer, if you can even call it a trailer, because I thought I was called something else. My name was Rhiannon. I remember I had pink shoes that were my own shoes, or I got to keep them afterwards, which as very exciting. I remember I was devastated at the end of it because I thought, "Oh, god. I’m never going to see these people again." Of course, in the [experience] of working, I see everyone all the time because the Irish film industry, and our community, is small. Everyone knows each other.
