Christian/Religious movies that are actually GOOD
I'm sick and tired of seeing my religion being misrepresented by biased, idiotic propaganda like 'Saving Christmas' and 'God's Not Dead'. So, as a fellow Christian, I've decided to make a list of all the GOOD movies that have to do with religion/God/Christ/The Bible/etc. If you feel like there's any films I'm missing, just add it in the comments below and I'll update this list.

- DirectorAlex ProyasStarsBrandon LeeMichael WincottRochelle DavisA man brutally murdered comes back to life as an undead avenger of his and his fiancée's murder.Okay, so it's not exactly a "Christian movie" in the conventional sense. There is a lot of swearing in this movie, and it's also got a few sexual references (including one mentioning of rape), BUT-- it does have a lot of religious undertones as well, if you pay close attention.
Eric, though not a blatantly religious man, does serve as an angel of wrath by punishing the wicked (aka - the gangsters who raped and murdered his girlfriend), but also shows mercy to the innocent (Sarah) and misguided (Sarah's drug addicted waitress mother, whom Eric reforms after catching her in bed with Fun Boy).
This is more of a revenge movie, I won't deny that. But we don't sympathize with Eric because he's "the good guy", we sympathize with him because of the terrible things he goes through, and the lengths he goes to avenge and protect the people he loves. The crow that resurrects Eric may also be seen as an analogy to God (though that may not have been the director's intention). - DirectorWilliam WylerStarsCharlton HestonJack HawkinsStephen BoydAfter a Jewish prince is betrayed and sent into slavery by a Roman friend in 1st-century Jerusalem, he regains his freedom and comes back for revenge.

Jack and Lily could be seen as representatives of Adam and Eve, and Darkness would obviously be The Devil who tries to seduce Lily.
