They all sit down for the big feed, and sing a song "Mister Google's tetched in the haid" based on one of Snuffy's signature phrases. Adding to this insult, they refuse to let Google get out more than a few words of a big speech he planned to give, by bombing him with messy food. The mob eats like wild animals, and all leave with the house a shambles.

- DirectorBob WickershamStarsFrank GrahamLurene TuttleIt is approaching mid-November in Dogpatch and this his bad news for all the bachelors, including Li'l Abner, as "Sadie Hawkins Day" is nearing. That is the day that all the bachelors in Dogpatch have to run in the race in which all the unmarried homely gals---which is all of them except Daisy Mae Scragg and Moonbeam McSwine--and old maids and grass widows then chase the bachelors and can marry the one they catch before sundown. Confirmed-bachelor Li'l Abner, as always, is the prime-target as the prize catch and Daisy Mae, as always, has a new plan that will ensure she catches him.
- DirectorSid MarcusStarsFrank GrahamJohn McLeishLurene TuttleLi'l Abner, tired of being constantly pursued by Daisy Mae, decides to run away from home but drops by to inform her that he is leaving. But she doesn't care as she informs Li'l Abner that she has a new suitor, Disgustin' Jones, cousin of Available Jones. He takes a train, airplane, ocean liner and gets as far as the Egypitian pyramids before he realizes what she told him and, while Abner doesn't want the delectable Miss Scragg---at least as drawn in the comic strip---he ain't hankerin' fer anybody else to be wooing her, and he returns to Dogpatch to put an end to any hanky-panky that might be going on in them thar hills. But Disgustin', disgusting character that he is, has about a thousand bodyguards hired to keep Abner away. They do but, then Mammy Yokum, takes a hand and quickly makes short work of the bodyguards.
- DirectorBob WickershamStarsFrank GrahamLurene TuttleThings are peaceful around the Yokum family shack in Dogpatch, as pipe-smoking Mammy Yokum has just given Abner, Pappy and Salomey, the family's pet pig, their semi-annual baths. Salomey goes for a stroll in the mountains but is spotted by an evil butcher---a bad caricature of Oliver Hardy---while driving his Black Market truck---it was made in WWII---and trolling for pork talent. He captures Salomey and hauls the little pig off to his large packing plant, with the intent of making sausage and pork chops out Salomey. And, possibly, salami. Abner rushes to the rescue but is soon tied to the same conveyor belt with Salomey and both are well on their way to becoming mixed mince-meat. But Abner screams for HELP!, and Mammy Yokum is on her way.
- DirectorHoward SwiftStarsFrank GrahamLurene TuttleLi'l Abner is busy sculpting a giant-granite statue of his two ideal role-models of bachelor-hood, Hairless Joe and Lonesome Polecat, who live in a cave and spend all of their time in brewing up large vats of moonshine Kickapoo Juice, and forever searching for just the right ingredients to give it the perfect kick, and roadkill is not overlooked. The always-delectable (except when drawn by the Columbia animators on this cartoon series) Miss Daisy Mae Scragg is heartbroken as she does not share Abner's admiration of the two bachelors--a strictly platonic relationship---who share a cave pad outside the Dogpatch city limits. Neither does Mammy Yokum and she sets out to help Hairless Joe and Lonesome Polecat in a search for a wife, although Hairless Joe and Lonesome Polecat are not aware they are in the matrimony market nor that a search is in progress.
