Me: Most bizarre abduction story I've ever heard!!! Waited 5 days to call the police, mom slept with the man who (twice) kidnapped & molested her daughter, dad jerked him off (suspect a closet gay - common in the 70's) even though they were righteous Mormons. Throw in her belief it was an alien abduction, & the guilt trip he added that if she didn't let him impregnate her, it would fall to her kid sister. You can't make this sh..t up. A terrible heartbreaking thing for the victim - most disturbing of all, that her parent were so clearly complicit.

Seeing flat earthers prove themselves wrong then still deny the truth was an amazing thing to watch, which was expertly explained by actual psychiatrists of why it happens. What struck me is there really was a period in US history when people had the time, energy and inclination to get all obsessed and worked up over something as trivial as a person's choice of a soft drink. Folks got enormously divisional about it - soda pressing.
Another thing, what are the odds that the marketing front-men these companies picked, Michael Jackson for Pepsi, Bill Cosby for Coke, had rises from super-stardom to off-a-cliff drop to infamy for exactly the same crime. Hammered home what made him both so terrifying & fascinating - no abusive childhood or trauma (other than discovering his father was 'unknown' at 14 & his admitted life long addition to pornography), to shed light on why this intelligent, handsome man morphed into a monster. . Incredible that he escaped from prison not once but twice, and the cavalier attitude of the guard that let it happen the 2nd time (episode 'Not my turn to watch') Enjoyed the jailhouse interviews on the advent of serial killer profiling. Same director - Joe Berlinger - produced the excellent film "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile", his story told through the perspective of the woman who he loved. IMBD: First this IS a real doc. I seriously thought it a mockumentary, it IS real. Includes archival news footage from CNN, various Canadian & European newscasts, even a brief interview with Justin Trudeau, who speaks directly about elements of the case. What unfolds is one of the most wild, insane, gruesome & shocking series of events I've ever seen in a true crime doc. 9 stars for the director, his choice on how to tell/ reveal the story brilliant. Bits & pieces of info are given to you at precise moments that will lead you to believe you know what's happening, only for another piece of info to be revealed that will absolutely blow your mind & leave you questioning what you think you know. There is so much suspense, it never stops building. NOT for the faint of heart, disturbing in unimaginable ways. I didn't "loved" it, impossible to "love" a story like this. Pretty good, similar to what's covered in "The Crown". A shame Margaret didn't get to marry Townsend without having to relinquish her position though, she deserved a happier life. Good observation in an INDB review "interesting how much the royal family has changed throughout Elizabeth's reign. The next in line to the throne is a divorced man who will become the first monarch to take the throne after being divorced (since Henry VIII I think). The dynamic between the sisters is playing out again with her grandsons. The 2nd son married a divorced American not unlike Edward who abdicated as a result of it. But the seriousness we see in Elizabeth is now visible in William and the devil-may-care attitude is now obvious in Harry. This documentary is comprised primarily of only a small handful of his multitude of still photographs, of which are there are no official archives as he culled his negatives once a year. These photographs document the daily lives of the many people who passed by downtown Vancouver over that forty year period, some who came specifically to have their photograph taken, while others had no idea they were going to be photographed until Foncie snapped the photo and he or his associate handed the subjects his business card for them to pickup their photo at a later date. As such, his millions of photos are scattered in the scrapbooks of people who had anything to do with downtown Vancouver over those years. These photos also document the changing face of Vancouver as well as the times.
