- DirectorGary YatesStarsArielle KebbelAndrew W. WalkerKimberley SustadA single man tries to win a bet by getting a woman recovering from a broken engagement to marry him by Christmas. This one's totally cute. The acting is better than expected for HC.
- DirectorAlex ZammStarsLacey ChabertJane SeymourStephen HaganPrince Leopold, heir to the throne of Cordinia, wishes to marry his young love Emily Taylor, a humble seamstress from Philadelphia. But Leopold's mother, Queen Isadora has other plans for her son.Handsome prince hides his identity and falls for common girl. His secret gets out when he has to head home to his (made-up) country to fulfill his kingly duties. Jane Seymour plays his snotty mom, who of course thinks Lacey Chabert's character is not good enough. He drags her to his big ol' castle and you can guess the rest.
- DirectorDon McBreartyStarsBrooke D'OrsayDaniel LissingMary-Margaret HumesAn aspiring crafter working in her small town's bakery shows the new big-city CEO that it's people and not machines which make the business a success.Brooke D'Orsay is great. She's always so chipper & so dang likeable. In this one, a CEO's son is sent to some Christmas town to learn about working with "real people" (lol). The company's factory manager is D'Orsay and she is charged with showing him around the factory and the town. They hang out, inspire each other, uncover secrets, etc. etc. etc. Enjoy!
- DirectorTibor TakácsStarsLeAnn RimesTyler HynesGwynyth WalshAn interim school superintendent finds herself in a tough spot when she is assigned to shut down a school's failing music program, and must come to terms with her musical past.Admittedly, I'd never seen Leann Rhimes in a movie role before. I was surprised how well she did. She's definitely one of the better musician-turned-'TV-movie'-leads. The story's cute.
- DirectorMike RohlStarsBrooke D'OrsayMarc BlucasLuke RoesslerNicknamed "Miss Christmas," the official tree finder for Chicago's renowned Radcliffe Tree lighting is left desperate to find the perfect tree. A letter from a young boy promising his tree is perfect sends her to a small town where she learns the young boy's dad isn't willing to part with his tree. While sparks fly, she'll be forced to confront what she's really been missing for Christmas.Brooke D'Orsay cheery and smiley as ever. This time she needs a Christmas tree for the Christmas lighting festival. Guy has unreasonable attachment to the one tree she wants. He won't give it to her. She stays around town a few extra days to try to convince him. I won't tell you the rest.
- DirectorDavid WinningStarsJaime KingLuke MacfarlaneChristie LaingTwo self-confessed 'Christmasphobes' sign a contract which will mutually benefit them over the holiday season. They're busy. They hate Christmas. They find a way to scam their boundary-oblivious friends/fam by faking a relationship. At first it's a success & they get more work done without all that pesky match-making. You'll never guess how this one turns out. (LOL) Thankfully, these 2 actors are actual movie/TV pro's so they elevate the basic storyline (imo).
- DirectorMark JeanStarsBrandon RouthKimberley SustadStephanie BennettAfter a stray cat adopts Zachary, he meets Marilee and realizes the single life is not as fulfilling as he thought it was.Hot firefighter scared of commitment becomes "besties" with smart girl-next-door. Fireman's hot-but-evil GF gets smart girl fired. He comes to the "rescue." They bond over cats and DIY renovations. Enjoy!
- DirectorDavid WinningStarsCindy BusbyRyan PaeveyElizabeth McLaughlinIn this modern day spin on "Pride & Prejudice," Elizabeth Scott (Cindy Busby), is fishing for direction in her life and gets the opportunity to professionally show her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in a fancy New York dog show. This one's cute. It's one of their typical formulas though: dreamy guy has lots of ladies chasing him...pretty-but-doesn't-know-it girl refuses to chase after him /c he seems arrogant & always gets lots of attention...guy wants girl who doesn't give him time of day + backstabbing snotty chicks + misunderstood comments etc etc
- DirectorNorma BaileyStarsBethany Joy LenzJohn ReardonSusan HoganWhile her life is falling apart, single mom Christine finds a magical family heirloom that leads to love and good fortune during Christmas.Love this one! This girl can't get a break, then - in true hallmark style - it all falls into place. The acting is pretty good (for Hallmark). The kids aren't annoying, they're actually super cute. And the story is one for all the underdog fans! Enjoy!
