Movie Reviews for 2013: Keith Simanton13 of 24
7.9/10 Lee Daniels' The Butler is a clunky, wonderful mess of a movie.
Loosely based upon the true story of Eugene Allen the film stretches the truth in such a way the it harks back to the biographies of cinema's past where the situations become so improbable that it's as if the director is pulling you aside and whispering "artistic license, ya'know."
