Director: Martin Scorsese | Stars: Leonardo DiCaprio, Cameron Diaz, Daniel Day-Lewis, Jim Broadbent
Votes: 471,566 | Gross: $77.81M
Daniel Day Lewis' best performance to date. Riveting. And although it's fiction, it's a pretty accurate depiction of New York at that time from what I've read about the history of New York. I think New York is the most fascinating city in the U.S.
2. The Departed (2006)

Votes: 1,416,941 | Gross: $132.38M
This film transferred DiCaprio from a boy to a man, not necessarily literally but character wise. I have never seen him play boyish roles after this film. And the plot twists were truly intriguing. Jack Nicholson also gave a stellar performance even though he is quite old by now.
3. Shutter Island (2010)

Votes: 1,448,205 | Gross: $128.01M
Officially turned me into a fan of the DiCaprio/Scorsese combo. They do bring out the best in eachother. Again, great plot twist and Scorsese officially pulled off making a mental institution and mental illness scary. DiCaprio plays good crazy and good drug addict.

Votes: 242,744 | Gross: $170.69M
I HATE musicals, Moulin Rouge couldn't even do it for me. But Chicago won me over. Why? I couldn't tell you. I truly did fid it good entertainment.

Votes: 464,973 | Gross: $56.00M
I love all of the Saw movies. They satisfy my need for gore porn but they're not too gross like Hostel, which I cannot stomach. Even though the storyline is weak I can look past it.

Director: Danny Boyle | Stars: Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Kevin McKidd
Votes: 723,559 | Gross: $16.50M
I like it for the fact that it's about heroin addiction and I was a drug addict once upon a time. The display was very acurate, more so than Requiem For A Dream. It also added humor to a horrible subject.

Votes: 264,413 | Gross: $5.69M
Guy Richie is very character driven, meaning the characters 'character' is just as important as the story, if not more. His characters are the main source of entertainment and they are all eccentric in their own ways. I'd like to see Ritchie's friend list on his smartphone. He seems to truly appreciate eccentricity.
