The Cabin in the Woods
What do you get the horror fan that has everything? How about a self-aware scary movie that flips all conventions of the genre upside down, including the idea of a self-aware scary movie that we became all too familiar with after Scream. This movie is shocking, funny, intelligent, wastes no time and has a soul to it. That’s more than I can say about some of my favorite humans. Joss Whedon (writer) was in grind mode in 2012, everybody else should be taking notes on how to get it done.
