Riding James Cameron's coat tails, Dark Angel was never able to gain the ratings or the cult following to survive for very long in Fox's era of quick cancelations, ending after a mere three seasons.
Which was quite a shame as Dark Angel proved to be a clever and slick sci-fi thriller, melding just enough sci-fi tropes with original material to satisfy. It also - I'll wager - offered up the only role Jessica Alba has ever looked completely comfortable in.
