Top Moments From "The Walking Dead" Midseason Premiere1 of 10
Warning: Spoilers ahead from "The Walking Dead" Season 7, Episode 9, "Rock in the Road."
1. What happened to Father Gabriel?
The December midseason finale ended with Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) being watched by a mysterious boots-wearing stranger as he stood guard at the Alexandria gate. It appeared to be the same boots-wearer from the houseboat scene in Episode 8.
The midseason premiere picked up from there, showing Father G scramble — very nervously — to get supplies in the storage room, gas up, and drive off. What was he doing? It looked like he was fleeing, but he left a clue with the word "Boat." Rick and the gang went out to search for him, but hit a snag (see slide 10) so we may have to wait for the full story.
Whatever the case, this is why you never put Father G on solo watch.
