'Trolls' Stars Timberlake, Kendrick, and More at the Dreamworks Panel5 of 6
As executive producer on the soundtrack, Timberlake loved having the opportunity to help the story along via the music — four original songs are featured in the movie, including his uber popular "Can't Stop the Music.”
“I’ve never written a song like that under these type of circumstances, but when I started to write the song, I was like, this actually makes me feel really good,” Timberlake said. “It’s nice to be a part of something that you can put out in the world and it just makes people happy, and there’s no rhyme or reason to it and you can be unabashed about it. That’s my favorite thing about this whole thing.”
