Thunderbird
The Thunderbird is native to North America and closely related to the phoenix. The large, bird-like creature has the ability to sense danger and can create storms as its flies. The Thunderbird in Fantastic Beasts was rescued from traffickers in Egypt by Scamander, who has named him Frank and promised to return him to his natural habitat in Arizona. The Thunderbird is also the symbol of one of the four houses at North America's Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (the others being Horned Serpent, Wampus and Pukwudgie).
