'Westworld' Stars Surprise With Season 2 Trailer
"Westworld," the HBO drama nominated for 22 Emmys, mixed laughs with a look back at Season 1 and a surprise trailer drop. Before the discussion got underway, footage from the first run recapped the events of Season 1, and drew peels of laughter from Hall H with some carefully selected bloopers.
Those laughs turned to cheers later on as footage from the next season was unveiled, despite filmed having just recently started.
But enjoy it while it lasts, as writer/executive producer Jonathan Nolan suggested it may not run for long. "One of my concerns with the show is how many seasons we can do because the more we think about these questions, the more it feels your mind is turning inside-out," he said. "So it might be for the best for us to – after a little more of this – all mutually agree to walk away from it."
