I thought this movie was a *beep* until i actually saw it and freaked out. I won't be playing survival games after this for a long while (comes from a mouth of a dedicated, oldschool, well educated horror lover)...
It has everything. Funked up ghosts, spooky atmosphere, funked up plot, even countess Bathory! 10/10 from me.

The thrills, the chills, the spooky and most f---d up open scenes, the background stories and oh...they bought me with Bathory character in the season three! All this being said, it's a MUSTWATCH if u haven't seen it allready. It's the proof that horrors are EVOLVING.

Actually a great "possession" one! Got a couple of big bumps, spooks and freakouts to it... I even started screaming myself at one of the freakouts...No ghosts, no unnecessary "grimy" and "scary" creatures *only once and it was very wickedly put*.
The thing i liked the most is that, for the first time you can see how the "exorcist" type of movies were made without any effects and computerized ghosts, and were scarier than modern ones...
On top of it all, the theme is Jewish demonology and i looove Jewish myths... 10/10 from me!!!

This is actually a nice remake, very good worked out...Probably because of the Japanese staff and director. The Tokyo scenery is amazing and the plot of this story is wonderful! Maybe bcs I simply love Jap culture and women, i don't know, but i desperate to checkout the original Korean version soon! :D

Ok...THIS movie is a MASTERPIECE! A FREAKING MESSY HORROR HYBRID OF TWO GENIUSES' TWISTED MINDS! Clive Barker is THE MAN, Bernard Rose is THE SIDEKICK and they KICKED SLEAZY AND MEH SLASHERS OUT OF THE RING.
I don't seem to know anything like this horror experience. It's urban myth + a ghastly and spooky damn, Texas Chainsaw kinda,brutal slasher + suspense + that sexy Virginia Madsen.
Watch it. It'll make u paralyzed for about an hour after it finish.

Now, honestly, i never like sequels to classics. I never really like them because they either sidetrack from the story very stupidly, or they are the same or very similar to the original to the point you dislike the first one and all. THIS is the only sequel i like better then original.
