- DirectorStuart RosenbergStarsJames BrolinMargot KidderRod SteigerNewlyweds and their three children move into a large house where a mass murder was committed. They start to experience strange, inexplicable manifestations which have strong effects on everyone living in or visiting the house.8 out of 10 stars. Excellent acting and terrific directing, it makes it seem like the actual true story. A bit long, but not too bad, worth a couple watches.
- DirectorDamiano DamianiStarsJames OlsonBurt YoungRutanya AldaA dysfunctional family moves into a new house, which proves to be satanic, resulting in the demonic possession of their teenage son.5 out of 10 stars. A good sequel, but not great. I find it's a bit boring and has a lack of a good scare unlike its prequel.
- DirectorRichard FleischerStarsTony RobertsTess HarperRobert JoyA reporter moves into the Amityville house in defiance of the supernatural events connected to it, and finds everyone around him besieged by the evil manifestations which are connected to a demonic presence in the basement.1 out of 10 stars. Boring, long-seeming, stupid, scratch that, AWFUL. The acting isn't bad, which is why it has *1* star. It could have had 5 if the plot was actually good. I watched this in theaters and GOD! The 3-D was worst than the whole movie!
- DirectorSandor SternStarsPatty DukeJane WyattFredric LehneThe demonic forces in the Amityville house transfer to an ancient lamp, which finds its way to a remote California mansion where the evil manipulates a little girl by manifesting itself in the form of her dead father.3 out of 10 stars. After watching number 3, why did I watch this one? No clue. The cast is pretty cheesy, and so are the special effects, but the plot itself was pretty good. Also, very short, seems like 30 minutes (well, except for the first 10 minutes.)
- DirectorTom BerryStarsKim CoatesDawna WightmanHelen HughesFive people spend the night in an abandoned house, an Amityville haunted house, and soon find themselves terrorized by assorted ghosts, venomous insects and ghostly apparitions.2 out of 10 stars. Stupid plot, so-so acting, old special effects, and uninteresting for EVERYONE. But still better than 3.
- DirectorTony RandelStarsStephen MachtShawn WeatherlyMegan WardAn architect brings home a mysterious old clock, not knowing that it's haunted by the demonic presence of the Amityville house. Soon, the clock begins to alter time and space and starts to possess members of the household.4 out of 10 stars. Almost the exact same movie as Evil Escapes, but instead of a lamp, it's a clock. Not bad, good acting, good plot, but still cheesy.
- DirectorJohn MurlowskiStarsRoss PartridgeJulia NicksonLala SloatmanAn old mirror from the Amityville house finds its way into a young photographer's home, where the demonic presence soon manifests itself to cause more death and mayhem.2 out of 10 stars. Same as its prequel and Evil Escapes, plus it's acting sucks, and it might be the cheesiest of the series. But the plot seems okay.
- DirectorSteve WhiteStarsRobin ThomasStarr AndreeffAllen CutlerA children's doll house, which is a miniature of the infamous haunted Long Island house, is given to a young girl where the demonic evil soon comes out to cause more terror.4 out of 10 stars. Smart, different, and new plot (this was preceded by the exact same movie times 3), the cheesy is still there, and it's an okay cast.
- DirectorAndrew DouglasStarsRyan ReynoldsMelissa GeorgeJimmy BennettNewlyweds are terrorized by demonic forces after moving into a large house that was the site of a grisly mass murder a year before.9 out of 10 stars. All of the things I loved about the original doubled and tripled and quadripled and RYAN REYNOLDS! He's a man's man, man.
- DirectorCraig CollinsonNick Freand JonesStarsZoë WanamakerEric BarlowRonald DeFeoThis UK documentary explores the true story of the Amityville Horror through photos and interviews with George Lutz, neighbors, local journalists and psychics. Includes excerpts of a rare 1994 Ronald DeFeo Jr. interview, the mass murderer who killed six of his family members in 1974.
- DirectorGeoff MeedStarsJason WilliamsAmy Van HorneDevin ClarkIn disregard of the shocking DeFeo murders, an unsuspecting family moves into the infamous house on 112 Ocean Avenue. Now, ghostly apparitions start to appear in their video surveillance system. Can they survive the Amityville haunting?0 out of 10 stars. *beep* STUPID AS *beep* Dumb ass cheesy as *beep* piece of *beep* movie that ended the Amityville for me. *beep* you movie makers!
