- CreatorMarc CherryStarsAna OrtizDania RamirezRoselyn SanchezFour Latina maids with ambition and dreams of their own work for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills.I'm looking for an escape from office politics and its "Game of Thrones"-like machinations; something tells me this program could be my ticket out of the real world, if only for an hour at a time. Plus, now that "Revenge" is off the air, I need to find new black-hearted characters to idolize.

Premieres: 9pm Monday, June 1 on Lifetime. - CreatorBryan FullerStarsHugh DancyMads MikkelsenCaroline DhavernasExplores the early relationship between renowned psychiatrist Hannibal Lecter and a young FBI criminal profiler who is haunted by his ability to empathize with serial killers.Waiting whets the appetite, so we're led to believe. If that's the case, this show's faithful should be ravenous by now, and for good reason. Season three introduces some of Thomas Harris's most fearsome, infamous characters, led by Francis Dolarhyde, better known as The Tooth Fairy (played by Richard Armitage). But that's just the teaser; what most people really want to know is who survived Hannibal's bloody second season finale. Fortunately the show answers that question for three major characters who ended up bloody on the floor within the first three episodes.
Of course, given Bryan Fuller's penchant for using rich visuals to illustrate his subject's grisly hobby, you're either completely out or in for however many pounds of flesh the bad doctor plans to cook up. Count us among the "in" crowd, although we're happy to simply observe, not participate.

Premieres: 10pm Thursday, June 4 on NBC. - DirectorPaul FeigStarsMelissa McCarthyRose ByrneJude LawA desk-bound CIA analyst volunteers to go undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer and prevent diabolical global disaster. While we've got to wait another (long) six more months for "Spectre," there's "Spy." Starring Melissa McCarthy, Jason Statham, Rose Byrne, and Jude Law, this cast should provide an interesting chemistry. Finally, a spy movie we can identify with!

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 5th. - DirectorAlfonso Gomez-RejonStarsThomas MannRJ CylerOlivia CookeHigh schooler Greg, who spends most of his time making parodies of classic movies with his co-worker Earl, finds his outlook forever altered after befriending a classmate who has just been diagnosed with cancer. When I was choosing my list of films to see at Sundance this past year, I wasn't really pulled in by the synopsis of this film. But my friend had an extra ticket so I tagged along with her. It was a lucky break for me because it was my favorite film at the festival and it was no surprise to me it won both the Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award. If you are a film aficionado, you will love this film. The lead character and his best friend Earl grew up on indie films and remake the classics with a personal touch-- my favorite was '400 Bros'. Take my advice, and see this film. I can't wait to see it again!

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 12th. - DirectorColin TrevorrowStarsChris PrattBryce Dallas HowardTy SimpkinsA new theme park, built on the original site of Jurassic Park, creates a genetically modified hybrid dinosaur, the Indominus Rex, which escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.I seriously cannot wait to see another movie with dashing Chris Pratt at its helm — and I probably speak for all of America when I say that. Women love him and men want to be him. But this summer flick isn't all about PrattPrattPratt! Let's not forget those scene-stealing dinosaurs. The shark scene in the trailer is everything!

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 12th. - DirectorPete DocterRonnie Del CarmenStarsAmy PoehlerBill HaderLewis BlackAfter young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.Recently I read that Pete Docter came up with the concept of Inside Out when his bubbly young daughter turned into an angst-ridden teen. As a fan of Docter's films I was already excited to see the film, but knowing it was also a way to figure out what was going on in his daughter's mind just warms my heart. It also doesn't hurt that it has an amazing voice cast including Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling, and Bill Hader.

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 19 - CreatorNic PizzolattoIssa LópezStarsVince VaughnColin FarrellRachel McAdamsAnthology series in which police investigations unearth the personal and professional secrets of those involved, both within and outside the law."A bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a career criminal, each of whom must navigate a web of conspiracy and betrayal in the scorched landscapes of California."
That's all that we currently know about the second season. What we can guess is that once again Nic Pizzolatto will give us a story that allows the cast, currently helmed by Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch, to take deep dramatic bites out of each riveting scene, and that we plan to savor every chapter...even though the odds are that the central mystery will once again culminate in an imperfect ending. -Melanie
Premieres: 9pm Sunday, June 21 on HBO. - CreatorSam EsmailStarsRami MalekChristian SlaterCarly ChaikinElliot, a brilliant but unstable cyber-security engineer and vigilante hacker, becomes a key figure in a complex game of global chaos when he and his shadowy allies try to take down the corrupt corporation his company is paid to protect. The first time I noticed Rami Malek was his chilling performance in HBO's "The Pacific (2010)." That portrayal made it obvious that audiences hadn't seen the last of him. But it's an even greater surprise to see him holding the center in this new USA series, which eschews the cable channel's frothy "blue skies" style for a gritty exploration of the world of hacking, information thievery and digital warfare through the eyes of Malek's lonely, introverted genius Elliot.
The first hour is one of the best opening hours I've seen on this network in recent memory. If nothing else, it may give you renewed admiration for Christian Slater, who is a lot of fun to watch in this pilot -- and who may have actually found a TV project with staying power this time. -Melanie
Premieres: 10pm Wednesday, June 24 on USA. - StarsKatherine ParkinsonGemma ChanLucy CarlessIn a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a 'Synth'--a highly-developed robotic servant that's so similar to a real human--is transforming the way we live.AMC has cornered the market on zombies, but there are so many other options for an apocalypse. How about a robot uprising? That seems to be what "Humans" is hinting at, with its robot "synths" simultaneously creeping out some of the folks they serve.
The opportunity to watch William Hurt in his first main series role since "Damages (2007)" cannot be squandered, and the fact that it's a series about androids and their odd connections with humans and humanity makes the series' concept all the more enticing. -Melanie
Premieres: 9pm Sunday, June 28 on AMC. - DirectorJosh LawsonStarsBojana NovakovicJosh LawsonDamon HerrimanThe secret lives of five suburban couples living in Sydney reveal both the fetishes and the repercussions that come with sharing them.I watched the majority of this dark-sex-comedy in the early hours right before heading to an interview with its director, Josh Lawson (who is also one of the leads). Having only read a tight-lipped synopsis before the screener began, I have to admit I was aghast and enthralled by the narrative's turns and abrupt, splatter-y ends to its vignettes. Coupled with Lawson's frank and open discussion about human sexuality and the myriad ways in which we tend to shame and closet ourselves, and the fact that we might see versions of his movie translated and remade in several different countries, makes me incredibly anxious to watch this one again.

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 26 - DirectorCrystal MoselleStarsMukunda AnguloNarayana AnguloSusanne AnguloConfined in an apartment from a New York housing project, the six Angulo brothers learned everything they know about the world through watching films and spend their time reenacting their favorite movies with intricate homemade costumes.I've watched this trailer over and over again and I get goosebumps every time. "The Wolfpack" is a powerful story of isolation, identity, freedom, and transformation. The closing quote in the trailer says it all: "I guess he always saw us as 'the little boys who couldn't.' And then we transformed into 'the boys who can.'"
-Chako - DirectorJalmari HelanderStarsSamuel L. JacksonOnni TommilaRay StevensonA young teenager camping in the woods helps rescue the President of the United States when Air Force One is shot down near his campsite.Yes, it's Samuel L. Jackson back on a plane, if only for the first act, but this time he's the POTUS. The other reason this movie appeals to me: it was originally set for a barely-there theatrical release in the U.S., and, suddenly, it earned a limited summer release. Crossing my fingers for another B-grade winner from Luc Besson (his EuropaCorp is distributing the movie) and some major scene chewing from Jackson, Felicity Huffman, and Ray Stevenson.

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 26 - CreatorStephen LevinsonStarsDwayne JohnsonJohn David WashingtonDonovan W. CarterA series centered around a group of football players and their families, friends and handlers. The previews of "Ballers" make the new HBO show look like a combination of "Wolf of Wall Street," "Furious 7," and "Moneyball." There are a lot of girls in bikinis, fancy cars, the obligatory shot of a party DJ, and then Dwayne Johnson cutting a fine figure in a number of suits. I mean, what's not to like?
-Chako - DirectorDana NachmanStarsMiles ScottEric JohnstonNick ScottOn one day, in one city, the world comes together to grant one 5 year old cancer patient his wish. Batkid Begins looks at the 'why' of this flash phenomenon.Living in San Francisco, I was fortunate enough to be there on the day that Batkid saved us from criminals and corruption. I can't keep it together while watching this trailer, and knowing that Miles Scott has beaten leukemia means there's no dark cloud hanging over this real-world legendary tale.
