We all love sci-fi from a different perspective. Sci-fi could get categorised in sub genres like: Sci-fi Horror, Sci-fi Thriller, Sci-fi Drama, Sci-fi Action, Sci-fi Adventure, Sci-fi Romance etc.

Special FX isnt that good for the giant worms but we can live with that. What I've heard David Lynch once said that Dune is the worst film he ever made. He don't know what a great cult movie he created.
The greatest thing with dune is that it's so different to how a sci-fi should be at the time it was created. Bizzare, strange and the design looks like a mix of historical interiors from different times and parts of the world.
