Stephen Moyer Reveals 7 Things You Need to Know About "The Bastard Executioner"6 of 7
A Toy Soldier Has Emotional Significance for Milus
Milus seems quite fascinated by a toy soldier that he sometimes carries. Moyer explains why the object has a hold on him. "That’s something from his childhood. He’s packing some of Eric’s stuff away. We are playing many, many different ideas which will play out as the story is told, but ultimately, [Milus is] packing away Eric’s stuff because Eric has gone. He’s died. He’s the storage room packing away stuff and whilst packing Eric’s clothes away and his warrior armor, I [happened upon] boxes of things we had had since we were boys and the idea is that Milus comes across a toy soldier that he had when he was a child. It reminds me of childhood, when I was stuck there [in poverty]."
