Keanu Charles Reeves, whose first name means "cool breeze over the mountains" in Hawaiian, was born September 2, 1964 in Beirut, Lebanon. He is the son of Patric Reeves, a showgirl and costume designer, and Samuel Nowlin Reeves, a geologist. Keanu's father was born in Hawaii, of British, Portuguese, Native Hawaiian, and Chinese ancestry, and Keanu's mother is originally from Essex England. After his parents' marriage dissolved, Keanu moved with his mother and younger sister, Kim Reeves, to New York City, then Toronto. Stepfather #1 was Paul Aaron, a stage and film director - he and Patricia divorced within a year, after which she went on to marry (and divorce) rock promoter Robert Miller. Reeves never reconnected with his biological father. In high school, Reeves was lukewarm toward academics but took a keen interest in ice hockey (as team goalie, he earned the nickname "The Wall") and drama. He eventually dropped out of school to pursue an acting career.
After a few stage gigs and a handful of made-for-TV movies, he scored a supporting role in the Rob Lowe hockey flick Youngblood (1986), which was filmed in Canada. Shortly after the production wrapped, Reeves packed his bags and headed for Hollywood. Reeves popped up on critics' radar with his performance in the dark adolescent drama, River's Edge (1986), and landed a supporting role in the Oscar-nominated Dangerous Liaisons (1988) with director Stephen Frears.
His first popular success was the role of totally rad dude Ted "Theodore" Logan in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989). The wacky time-travel movie became something of a cultural phenomenon, and audiences would forever confuse Reeves's real-life persona with that of his doofy on-screen counterpart. He then joined the casts of Ron Howard's comedy, Parenthood (1989) and Lawrence Kasdan's I Love You to Death (1990).
Over the next few years, Reeves tried to shake the Ted stigma with a series of highbrow projects. He played a slumming rich boy opposite River Phoenix's narcoleptic male hustler in My Own Private Idaho (1991), an unlucky lawyer who stumbles into the vampire's lair in Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992), and Shakespearean party-pooper Don John in Much Ado About Nothing (1993).
In 1994, the understated actor became a big-budget action star with the release of Speed (1994). Its success heralded an era of five years in which Reeves would alternate between small films, like Feeling Minnesota (1996) and The Last Time I Committed Suicide (1997), and big films like A Walk in the Clouds (1995) and The Devil's Advocate (1997). (There were a couple misfires, too: Johnny Mnemonic (1995) and Chain Reaction (1996).) After all this, Reeves did the unthinkable and passed on the Speed sequel, but he struck box-office gold again a few years later with the Wachowski siblings' cyberadventure, The Matrix (1999).
Now a bonafide box-office star, Keanu would appear in a string of smaller films -- among them The Replacements (2000), The Watcher (2000), The Gift (2000), Sweet November (2001), and Hardball (2001) - before The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2003) were both released in 2003.
Since the end of The Matrix trilogy, Keanu has divided his time between mainstream and indie fare, landing hits with Something's Gotta Give (2003), The Lake House (2006), and Street Kings (2008). He's kept Matrix fans satiated with films such as Constantine (2005), A Scanner Darkly (2006), and The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008). And he's waded back into art-house territory with Ellie Parker (2005), Thumbsucker (2005), The Private Lives of Pippa Lee (2009), and Henry's Crime (2010).
Most recently, as post-production on the samurai epic 47 Ronin (2013) waged on, Keanu appeared in front of the camera in Side by Side (2012), a documentary on celluloid and digital filmmaking, which he also produced. He also directed another Asian-influenced project, Man of Tai Chi (2013).
In 2014, Keanu played the title role in the action revenge film John Wick (2014), which became popular with critics and audiences alike. He reprised the role in John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017), taking the now-iconic character to a better opening weekend and even more enthusiastic reviews than the first go-around.Ted- Actor

Alex Winter began his career as a child actor; co-starring roles include the Broadway productions of "The King & I" with Yul Brynner, and "Peter Pan" with Sandy Duncan, and the American premiere of Simon Gray's "Close of Play" at the Manhattan Theater Club, directed by Lynne Meadow.
After attending NYU film school, Winter went on to have starring roles in several feature films, including Orion's huge hit "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure" and its sequel "Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey" the Warner Brothers cult favorite "The Lost Boys", Ivan Passer's "Haunted Summer" and Percy Adlon's "Rosalie Goes Shopping." With directing partner Tom Stern, Winter starred in, co-directed and co-wrote the hit MTV comedy series, "The Idiot Box" and starred in their theatrical co-directing debut, "Freaked," released by Twentieth Century Fox. "Freaked" was acclaimed by critics, including The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly, who heralded the film on their list of "Top Ten greatest comedies of the Nineties." Winter's solo directorial debut was the critically acclaimed "Fever," for Lionsgate, which screened in the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes. Also written by Winter, The New York Times' A.O. Scott praised the film as "Pure Hitchcockian panic. An arresting example of what a talented filmmaker can do with the sparest of means."
Winter is the founder of Trouper Productions, which services much of his directing work. In 2020, Winter released two new documentary feature films, "Showbiz Kids," premiered on HBO to widespread critical acclaim, garnering a Critics Choice nomination for Best Score by Tweedy. Followed by "Zappa," the first all-access documentary on the life and times of Frank Zappa. The Kickstarter campaign for this project was the highest funded documentary in crowdfunding history. Magnolia Pictures released "Zappa," a Critics Pick in the New York Times, and nominated for Best Music Documentary by the Critics Choice Awards.
Previous documentary work includes "The Panama Papers," about the largest global corruption scandal in history, and the journalists who worked in secret and at considerable risk to break the story. A multiple award-winner, "The Panama Papers," executive produced by Laura Poitras, opened to a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Also in release worldwide is "Trust Machine," about the rise of bitcoin and the blockchain, from Breaker Studios.
"Deep Web" is about the online black market Silk Road and the trial of its creator Ross Ulbricht. The documentary premiered on the Epix network, opening as the #1 documentary on iTunes and earning a Cinema Eye nomination among several award wins. "Downloaded" is a VH1 RockDoc about Napster and the digital revolution. The film premiered at SXSW, garnering worldwide critical acclaim at theatrical and festival screenings.
In 2013, Winter returned to the screen in "Grand Piano," directed by Eugenio Mira, from the Blacklist script by Damian Chezelle (La La Land), co-starring alongside Elijah Wood and John Cusack. Recently, Winter co-starred in the highly anticipated third installment in the Bill & Ted franchise, "Bill & Ted Face The Music," which opened in 2020 as the number one movie both in the U.S. and the UK.
Soon to be released is Winter's next feature documentary, "The YouTube Effect." Produced by Winter & Trouper Productions in partnership with Gale Anne Hurd & Valhalla Entertainment and Glen Zipper. The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in June of 2022.Bill- Amy Stoch was born on 13 December 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. - A New Orleans native, Patrick John McNamara became known on screen as 'J. Patrick' to avoid confusion with another Actor's Equity member of longer standing. McNamara initially started out performing in plays at the University of New Orleans in order to improve his public speaking, because (in his own words) "I knew that I was going to be a lawyer. I did a play, I was good at it, and that was that. Then I went to law school and hated it." After briefly working for Flying Tiger Airlines in New York, McNamara returned to his home town to complete a degree in theater studies. Before long, he was 'on the boards' performing on stage, including at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. He further honed his newly acquired skills at Wayne State University in Detroit and subsequently secured a job teaching voice at the National Academy of Drama, Carnegie Hall.
McNamara resumed his acting career at an avant-garde Off-Broadway club in Manhattan's East Village where he spent the next three years. After that, he taught drama classes at Antioch College in Ohio and then spent time in Europe before returning to New Orleans. He operated a theatrical company there from 1974 to 1977, but the venture proved unprofitable, and, therefore, short-lived. Turning to screen work, McNamara joined Equity and began to amass a solid number of film and TV credits which included two pictures directed by Steven Spielberg (Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) and 1941 (1979)), Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989) (and the sequel - as Bill Preston's dad), an oilman in Dallas (1978) and Dr. Katherine Pulaski's former commander in a season two episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). He was frequently cast as professors, doctors, psychologists or senior executives.
McNamara retired from acting in 2016 and spent his remaining years in New Orleans, devoting time to his favorite hobby: playing poker.Mr. Preston - Casting Director

Steven Andrew Soderbergh was born on January 14, 1963 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, the second of six children of Mary Ann (Bernard) and Peter Soderbergh. His father was of Swedish and Irish descent, and his mother was of Italian ancestry. While he was still at a very young age, his family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where his father was a professor and the dean of the College of Education at Louisiana State University. While still in high school, around the age of 15, Soderbergh enrolled in the university's film animation class and began making short 16-millimeter films with second-hand equipment, one of which was the short film "Janitor". After graduating high school, he went to Hollywood, where he worked as a freelance editor. His time there was brief and, shortly after, he returned home and continued making short films and writing scripts.
His first major break was in 1986 when the rock group Yes assigned him to shoot a full-length concert film for the band, which eventually earned him a Grammy nomination for the video, Yes: 9012 Live (1985). Following this achievement, Soderbergh filmed Winston (1987), the short-subject film that he would later expand into Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989), a film that earned him the Cannes Film Festival's Palme d'Or Award, the Independent Spirit Award for Best Director, and an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. Over the next six years, he was married to actress Betsy Brantley and had a daughter named Sarah Soderbergh, who was born in 1990.
Also during this time, he made such films as Kafka (1991), King of the Hill (1993), The Underneath (1995) and Gray's Anatomy (1996), which many believed to be disappointments. In 1998, Soderbergh made Out of Sight (1998), his most critically and commercially successful film since Sex, Lies, and Videotape (1989). Then, in 2000, Soderbergh directed two major motion pictures that are now his most successful films to date: Erin Brockovich (2000) and Traffic (2000). These films were both nominated for Best Picture Oscars at the 2001 Academy Awards and gave him the first twin director Oscar nomination in almost 60 years and the first ever win. He won the Oscar for Best Director for Traffic (2000) at the 2001 Oscars.executive producer- Writer
