New Superhero Series Coming to TV & Streaming9 of 24
"The Sandman" | Coming to Netflix in late 2021
Neil Gaiman’s groundbreaking comic series “The Sandman” is finally coming to our screens in 2021, after having been thought of as “unadaptable” for decades. Details are scarce on the series, but we do know that it will be a modern retelling of the source material with plenty of surprises along the way. We’re already looking forward to the stellar cast led by Tom Sturridge as the King of Dreams, and the gender-swapped take on Lucifer portrayed by “Game of Thrones” favorite Gwendoline Christie. The series focuses on Dream, one of seven immortal beings known as the Endless — personifications of the fundamental aspects of life and creation, older than gods, older than the universe. We’re hoping the series goes on long enough to introduce us to the whole family.
