Famous Movie Quotes as Haikus
This poll doesn't try to trivialize the poetry of Haikus, which obey a certain sets of rules without being locked in a cage of didacticism. Let's look at it as a tribute to one of my favorite forms of poetic expressions.
The rules of Haikus are the following:
It has three lines. It has five syllables in the first and third lines. It has seven syllables in the second line. Its lines don't rhyme. It includes a kireji, or cutting word. It includes a kigo, a seasonal reference.
With that in mind, I humbly tried to 'hiaku-ize' some famous movie quotes following as many rules as I could... asking for your indulgence, my question is the following:
Which of these famous quotes works the best as a haiku?
