450 or More Actors & Actresses of Ale

by OldAle1 | created - 13 Aug 2022 | updated - 07 Sep 2022 | Public

My favorite people that act. Primarily based on film careers - for now, I'm leaving out people whose work in TV is most of what I know. Some of these actors are widely acclaimed for their virtuosity and the penetrating insights they bring to the human condition; some are here primarily because of, for lack of a better word, personality. What they all have in common is that they have names that excite me at least a little bit - or a lot when it comes to the first few names - and make me just a touch more interested in seeing any films they happen to appear in. That's really it.

Also including a few favorite films for each performer; I'm generally restricting myself to major roles for those actors who typically played leads or large roles, and I'm trying to balance between my favorite films that happen to star these actors, and my favorite performances. In some cases I'll note a disparity if it seems important to me.

Top 67 ranked in order. 68-200 unranked second tier. 201+ unranked third tier.
