A New O.J. Movie Stars the Controversial Charlotte Kirk (But Definitely Not Owen Wilson)
Hey, Hollywood, anybody interested in a partially finished film about how O.J. Simpson might have been innocent? One that stars Charlotte Kirk — the English actress best known for her previous role in taking down moguls Kevin Tsujihara and Ron Meyer in a 2019 sex scandal — as Nicole Brown Simpson? If yes, this is your lucky day. According to British director Joshua Newton, about 30 minutes of The Juice (originally titled Nicole and O.J.) is in the can, mostly flashback scenes featuring Kirk and German-born actor Boris Kodjoe, currently on ABC’s Station 19, who plays the late NFL star turned acquitted murderer. Newton, who has been working on this “satirical thriller” since 2015, says the picture’s main plotline involves a real-life attorney named Douglas McCann who got sucked into various conspiracy theories during Simpson’s 1995 criminal trial.

Characters are finally moving forward following Billy's death.
But All American Season 5 Episode 19 revealed that these changes will impact those closest to them.
What isn't at all evident is what this will mean for next season on The CW's only renewed script series.
Where to start? Where to start?
How about Olivia, who has been vying with Spencer recently for the title of "most rudderless character."
Understandably, those two are grieving because they lost their father/father figure. Jordan is in the same boat, but he has made a faster turnaround, largely thanks to having Layla to lean upon.
Freshman Liv decided to embrace college life on All American Season 5 Episode 18. After getting involved with the Black Student Union at Gau, she discovered that the group had a social-justice-oriented Cultural Exchange Program.
It was apparent then the direction that Olivia's journey would take -- away from Spencer. That was confirmed...

The show was immensely popular with viewers but got mixed reviews from critics. Some called it “Jiggle TV” because it emphasized the sex appeal of its female cast.

Fans are struggling to recognise Paula Abdul in a recent series of photos.
Abdul, 60, is a singer, dancer, and choreographer. She is also known for her time spent on the judging panel of American Idol, alongside Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson.
Earlier this week, the “Straight Up” singer posted a number of festive photographs of herself to Instagram from Kathy Hilton’s annual Christmas party.
A number of fans have commented on the photo, saying that they cannot identify the woman in the picture because she looks so different from Abdul.

A third person wrote: “Where is Paula?”

Michelle Pfeiffer (‘The First Lady’) would be 2nd actress to win Golden Globe for playing Betty Ford
A full decade after the conclusion of Gerald Ford’s presidency, Gena Rowlands starred in a 1987 ABC biopic centered around his wife, simply titled “The Betty Ford Story.” The telefilm offered an honest look into the former first lady’s struggles with prescription drug and alcohol addiction, and Rowlands’s committed performance brought her a Primetime Emmy and a Golden Globe. Now, there is a chance of history being made if Michelle Pfeiffer ends up also clinching a Golden Globe for her own take on Betty Ford in “The First Lady.”
The Showtime limited series, which aired all 10 of its episodes this spring, follows the lives of three U.S. presidential spouses, with the other two being Eleanor Roosevelt (Gillian Anderson) and Michelle Obama (Viola Davis). According to Gold Derby’s predictions, Pfeiffer has the best shot of the three at making it into the 2023 Best TV Movie/Limited Series Actress Golden Globe lineup.

Jonathan received an unexpected crash course in the multiverse on Tuesday’s Superman & Lois, and he may never look at either of his parents the same way again.

And when Jonathan later put himself in harm’s way, he received the scolding of a lifetime. (That was some excellent work by Bitsie Tulloch.)

When The CW’s The Flash resumes Season 7, it will bid farewell to Cisco Ramone with an episode that suits the tech whiz’s oftentimes playful demeanor.

Despite earlier reports to the contrary, actress Tanya Roberts did not die on Sunday, according to a new statement obtained by TMZ. (Update: It has now been confirmed that Roberts died on Monday night.)
Roberts’ rep Mike Pingel explains that Roberts’ domestic partner Lance was contacted by Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday morning to inform him that she is still alive. Following a discouraging visit to the hospital on Sunday night, Lance incorrectly believed that Roberts had died; he passed this misinformation along to Pingel, who confirmed it to the media. Since the coronavirus is an equal opportunity disease, Hollywood stars, media and politicians are all on lockdown with the common folk this weekend. That leaves plenty of time for social media outreach and advice.
With pressure mounting on governments to mandate confinement instead of merely suggesting it, it’s likely more celebrities will jump in with updates on what they’re doing to stave off the stir crazy.

I did a Charlie's Angels episode [in 1976]. It was supposed to be a recurring role — Jaclyn Smith’s boyfriend, when they were trying to give the Angels more of a private life — which was pretty exciting for an out-of-work actor, which I was back then. But it ended up being only one episode. It did not recur.
I don't think I met Leonard back then, thank God. I'd have been too nervous. But years later, after he cast me on Blue Bloods and we became friends, I would sometimes kid him about how he once ...

Hollywood remembered producer Leonard Goldberg today, with a roster of tributes reflecting his long history in television and film.
“I met Len 40 years ago on a show called Charlies Angels,” said Jaclyn Smith. “He was an important part of the richest years of my career. It was this shared history that became a wonderful friendship. I have the greatest respect for him not only professionally but more importantly as a loving family man. Len, you are now truly surrounded by angels.”
Barry Diller: “Though the word is so often misused, Leonard Goldberg was the mentor of mentors to me and so many others – he gave you confidence and support and the leeway to make mistakes and he had the sure sense of himself to let you shine. Laverne Cox officially earned her wings, scoring a role in Sony’s “Charlie’s Angels.” But she revealed her cameo almost didn’t happen.
When the Emmy-nominee heard that Elizabeth Banks was directing the film, the longtime fan of the franchise (and of Banks herself) reached out about being part of the project. Cox had previously worked with Banks on two pilots.
“I emailed Elizabeth and I’m like, ‘If you need me for anything in ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ I’m here for you,” Cox told Variety at the film’s premiere in Los Angeles. “She [replied], ‘Your ears must be burning ’cause we were just talking about you for something.’”
An excited Cox alerted her team and waited for word she’d be joining the “Angels” on set. Cue crickets.

The latest reboot of Charlie's Angels shares plenty of similarities with the '70s TV show and the two early 2000s movies that came before it. The Townsend Agency is back, though now it has expanded internationally. Bosley is back, except now there are several of them recruiting new spies all over the world. The Angels are back, except now we have three new kickass recruits. And of course, the titular Charlie Townsend is back, and he is once again faceless - but the 2019 reboot also provides a small twist. This time around, Charlie is a woman. But who exactly is she?
Near the end of the movie, viewers are taken into Charlie's office, where it's revealed that an unseen woman is using a voice-changing device to sound like a man. You're even given a glimpse of Charlie - or rather, Charlie's hand - earlier in the movie, and though it's clearly a woman's hand,...

The costumes that the “Charlie’s Angels” trio have worn over the years have always been functional but fashionable. In the TV show starring Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson, which ran from 1976 to 1981, and then in the movie franchise of the early 2000s with Lucy Liu, Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore, the functionality always fit the fashion of the time. In the latest incarnation of the franchise — written and directed by Elizabeth Banks, who also plays Bosley — with Kristen Stewart as Sabina, Naomi Scott as Elena and Ella Balinska as Jane — there isn’t much throwback to previous “Charlie’s Angels” productions, but costume designer Kym Barrett says that the spirit is certainly there.
“We have a few little Easter eggs [throughout the film] that give a nod to the past movies and TV show,” says Barrett, who designed the iconic costumes of “Romeo + Juliet” and the “Matrix” franchise. In designing...

Is Elizabeth Banks ready for the world to experience “Charlie’s Angels”?
“It’s a lot of pressure,” Banks told Variety at Monday’s premiere of the film in Los Angeles. “It’s very scary. I’ve seen the movie with an audience, and so I know the movie works, that the audience loves it and goes along on the ride.”
“It’s really funny. I think it’s very surprising for people and that was the job,” she continued. “And so I feel like my part’s done, and now it’s out of my control, which I hate.”
Until now, Banks was completely in control of the latest entry in the 40-year-old franchise about female super spies — writing, producing, starring in and directing the film. “My first memory of the ‘Angels’ was that they were professional women and they had the most incredible job,” she recalled.

Kelly Lynch‘s motto is to leave the world better than she found it, but that positive outlook came from a very dark time in her life.
The Charlie’s Angels star was just 20 when she was involved a terrible car crash that came close to killing her. Lynch was severely injured when she was hit head-on on a Minnesota freeway, shattering her femurs and thigh bones.
The doctors wanted to amputate both her legs, threatening that she would “get gangrene and die” otherwise.

The Boys are back to work – and business is booming. Filming is now underway in Toronto for Season 2 of the Amazon Original series The Boys, the ultra-violent and proudly pervy superhero drama that premiered on Amazon Prime on July 26 and already ranks as the digital platform’s fastest breakout ever and its best-reviewed original series to date.
The show’s fan following has already put The Boys at No 39 on IMDb’s list of television’s all-time best series.
The series adapts the comics series (2006-2012) by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson and it’s part of a wave of subversive superhero screen projects that flip the script on conventional superhero fare by making the costumed crusaders intriguingly dysfunctional.
