Director Miguel Arteta would like to be known as the man who gives voice to awkward dorks everywhere. "Dorkiness is my realm in which I live, so I celebrate dorkiness," the director of "Chuck & Buck" and "Star Maps" says proudly. It's been eight years since Arteta's last film, "The Good Girl," which was honored by the National Board of Review. He's spent a lot of that time helming for TV, but his newest feature, "Youth in Revolt," is worth the wait. Actor Michael Cera has never been better as Nick Twisp, a 16-year-old desperate to lose his virginity to the girl of his dreams. That might sound like the pithy premise of a "Road Trip"– or "American Pie"–type jock fest, but "Youth in Revolt" has the substance to back it up, thanks to C.D. Payne's original novel. CBS recently released this new promo clip “Beth Colt Purses” from the hit series “Ghost Whisperer” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt (Delgo), Jamie Kennedy and David Conrad (Wedding Crashers). Synopsis: Ghost Whisperer is an episodic series that follows the life of Melinda Gordon, a young woman who has the ability to see and communicate with the dead. Each episode deals with one or more ghosts seeking Melinda’s help in relaying a message or completing a task that will put the spirit to rest, and allow them to “cross over” into The Light, a metaphor presented by the show as its conception of Heaven. Manager-producers Beth Colt and Amy Guenther have merged their respective management firms to create the management-production venture Gateway Management Partners. The new Los Angeles-based operation has a client roster that includes Tim Daly, Lisa Darr, Dennis Farina, Miles Fisher, Mary Alice Haney, Deirdre Lovejoy, Tim Blake Nelson, Adoni Maropis, Jean Reno, Diana-Maria Riva, Will Rothhaar and Kelli Williams. The duo have known each other for more than 10 years, most recently working together on the Showtime telefilm "A House Divided", produced by Colt and starring Guenther's client Daly. Colt founded her own management firm eight years ago. Her producing credits include "Star Maps" and "Chuck & Buck." Guenther started her industry career at Industry Entertainment, where she worked for nine years. She segued to a management post at Artists Management Group, later the Firm, before launching her own management operation, Gateway Management, in June 2003.
