The Ryan Reynolds starrer Deadpool & Wolverine is gearing up for release in July of this year. The film would be the sole MCU theatrical release of the year and would formally introduce the X-Men into the MCU. Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and a host of other characters from Fox Studios’ Marvel entries are confirmed to appear in the film.
Recently, popular scooper Can We Get Some Toast reported that the majority of the film would be taking place in The Void, a space that was introduced in Loki. The teaser of the film indicated that the film would be a multiversal story with Deadpool going to different timelines. The scooper also mentioned how this direction was vastly different from the original script for the film, which reportedly took place during the original X-Men trilogy.

When it comes to writing and directing, Quentin Tarantino is undoubtedly one of the very best in the entertainment business. But that’s not all that the filmmaker is capable of. Outside of films that he has been directly involved with, Tarantino has also appeared in several other projects as a guest star. Take, for example, J.J. Abrams’ spy series Alias where he starred alongside Jennifer Garner.
Quentin Tarantino in Pulp Fiction
Appearing in the 12th and 13th episodes of Alias’ first season, Quentin Tarantino played the role of a former agent of the SD6 agency, McKenas Cole. Seeking revenge in the series, Tarantino’s character gets a face-off with Jennifer Garner’s Sydney Bristow. The duo engaged in a famous fight sequence, which was later hailed by Tarantino as he had the highest praise for Garner.

This is fact: Oscar-winning American Fiction screenwriter Cord Jefferson will receive the WGA West’s 2024 Paul Selvin Award next month. The first-time feature scribe will be feted during the West Coast ceremony for strike-delayed 77th Writers Guild Awards on April 14 at the Hollywood Palladium.
He also is up for the Adapted Screenplay prize at the WGA Awards, having written his script based on Percival Everett’s novel Erasure.
Jefferson also directed American Fiction, which stars Jeffrey Wright as Thelonious “Monk” Ellison, a frustrated novelist fed up with the literary establishment’s continual ignorance and blind promotion of what they consider “Black” entertainment. He writes an outlandish “Black” book of his own under a pen name, a book that propels him to the heart of hypocrisy and the madness he claims to disdain.

The upcoming film Deadpool and Wolverine will see the official integration of the X-Men into the MCU. With Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and Jennifer Garner reprising their respective roles from the Fox franchise, the MCU will finally feature mutants along with the rest of the Marvel roster.
However, one actor who deserves to get a second shot at the character is James Marsden, who played Scott Summers a.k.a Cyclops in the X-Men films. Marsden played the role in the first three films of the franchise and had a cameo in X-Men: Days of Future Past. However, the actor reportedly always felt that he never fit into the role as much.

Amid the devasting loss of Sister Wives star, Garrison Brown, fans are calling for TLC to reexamine their policies. Undoubtedly, fans are advocating for more protection of innocent children in their most formative years. Likewise, the fans believe that many of TLC‘s shows are exploiting children from a young age and should discontinue filming.
Fans Demand TLC Stop Exploiting Children
On Reddit in a Sister Wives forum, one fan kicked off a topic demanding, “No minors on reality tv.” This comes amid the horrific loss of Janelle and Kody Brown’s son, Garrison Brown to suicide. Additionally, the user says, “Without blame or judgement concerning the recent tragedy, I believe there should be a law against minors playing key roles in reality television. I’m thinking of this show, Duggars, Kate +8, Honey Boo Boo, that dance moms show, & others. Certainly the minors would be in the background footage, but no interviews or anything.

Ben Affleck’s Only Horror Movie Was So Bad It Couldn’t Even Earn More Than $10 Million at Box Office
Ben Affleck’s done a lot in Hollywood, you know? He’s been in all sorts of movies, from those big action flicks to the tear-jerker dramas. But when the 51-year-old dipped his toes into horror with Phantoms back in ’98, it didn’t quite hit the mark.
Ben Affleck in Justice League
The movie just couldn’t grab people’s attention, making less than 10 million bucks at the box office. Even though it had a cool idea and Affleck’s star power, Phantoms just didn’t live up to the hype, ending up as one of those forgettable horror flicks. It’s kinda curious why folks didn’t vibe with it and what it says about the actor’s career in movies.
Ben Affleck’s Sole Horror Movie Outing Was a Complete Flop
Ben Affleck tried his hand at horror, and let’s just say it didn’t end well.

Given the irreverent tone of the Deadpool movies, it's no surprise that Deadpool & Wolverine plans to take shots at the MCU, and this gives the movie the perfect chance to call back to a recent joke Marvel made about itself. While Marvel movies usually have a lot of jokes in them, they don't typically get too self-referential. Deadpool & Wolverine's trailer already showed that this isn't the case for the upcoming movie. Even in its short runtime, Deadpool managed to mention Marvel's parent company, Disney, and even referred to himself as "Marvel Jesus."
Though most Marvel projects tend to keep the fourth wall intact, Deadpool & Wolverine won't actually be the first MCU release to break it. Previously, She-Hulk: Attorney At Law also played around with fourth wall breaks and meta jokes, similar to the previous Deadpool movies. She-Hulk even took her meta humor even further than Deadpool ever...

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is currently the most anticipated MCU movie, and it’s the only one slated for release in 2024 as of now. Sources have already indicated that the film is fantastic and aims to rekindle excitement in the MCU. One reason for the buzz is Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine, a role he seemingly retired after ‘Logan.’ Another reason is Deadpool’s debut in the MCU, having previously been part of Fox’s X-Men universe.
Rumors are swirling that prominent X-Men villains and members may make appearances, along with speculation about Taylor Swift’s role, which even Ryan Reynolds has hinted at while remaining tight-lipped. After Jennifer Garner’s Elektra return confirmation and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine comeback, fans are now eyeing another beloved character, Marsden’s Cyclops, from previous Marvel movies.

‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ is the most anticipated MCU movie currently, and the only movie releasing in 2024 as things currently stand. We’ve already heard from several sources that the movie is amazing and meant to reignite some of the faith in the MCU, to get people once again hyped to see the franchise’s movies. There are several reasons for that, the first being the return of Hugh Jackman in the role of Wolverine, something that he seemingly left behind with the ‘Logan’ movie, and the second reason is the fact that Deadpool is joining the MCU for the first time, the previous two movies being a part of Fox’s X-Men universe.
There are plenty of rumors going around that some of the most notable X-Men villains (and members) will appear in the movie, as well as rumors that Taylor Swift will be making an appearance in the movie in the yet-undisclosed role.

For many older viewers, Jennifer Garner’s portrayal of Elektra holds a special place in their hearts, despite the flaws of her standalone movie. However, when Netflix produced Marvel shows, Elodie Yung won fans over with her portrayal of the youthful assassin and Daredevil’s love interest.

For most of the older audiences, Jennifer Garner is the only live-action Elektra that they are emotionally tied to, no matter how bad her standalone movie was. But back when Netflix was making shows based on Marvel characters, Elodie Yung embodied the young assassin and Daredevil’s love interest and fans took quite a liking to her.
Now it’s been confirmed that Garner will reprise her role as Elektra in the upcoming ‘Daredevil & Wolverine,’ and since ‘Echo’ has canonized a good portion of the ‘Defenders’ saga plenty of fans have been hoping that Elodie Yung will make a return as Elektra in the MCU. In fact, Yung admitted as much herself, that she gets asked constantly about the role in her interview with toofab.

Deadpool & Wolverine will poke fun at the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, according to star Karan Soni. Soni also reveals that Feige has a good sense of humor, fortunately, because the film takes "a lot" of shots at him.
Wade Wilson’s (Ryan Reynolds) lovable buddy, the taxi-driving Dopinder himself, actor Karan Soni, had the opportunity to meet the President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, on the set of Deadpool & Wolverine. Exclusive: Jennifer Garner (Alias) is set to star with fellow Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser (Black Bird) in true-crime movie Fruitcake.
