Salman Khan Was Once Miffed By Sandeep Reddy Vanga (Picture Credit: Facebook & IMDb)
Salman Khan is one of those people who is very particular about his panga. If you miff Bhaijaan once, then it is very difficult to get back to his good books. So kudos to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for pulling this stunt. Recent reports suggest that the animal filmmaker has approached Bhaijaan for a dark broody film. Reports further say that Bhai is very interested in the script and might sign the dotted line.
Well, this will definitely be a major move on with time. Salman was miffed by the director and his film Animal. For those who have come late, when Ranbir Kapoor signed the dotted line for the gangster drama, this violent film was not titled Animal.
When Sandeep Reddy Vanga signed Ranbir Kapoor for the blockbuster gangster drama, it was titled Devil. And no points...

Amitabh Bachchan’s Film With Subhash Ghai Was Shelved After A Showdown & Then Boney Kapoor Pitched Ram Lakhan (Picture Credit: IMDb)
Old-age Bollywood is an era where a lot happened and was never revealed. Most of the stories were slid under covers, and many of them were shared and remembered in memories but weren’t published ever. One such story happened on one of the elaborate sets of Subhash Ghai’s film that starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
The angry young man was the muse for the showman of the industry, and they were working on a film titled Devaa. The shoot began in 1987. The film also starred Raaj Kumar, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Shammi Kapoor, and Ila Arun, and the music was given by Laxmikant Pyarelal. However, the film was eventually shelved. Guess why? Because of Big B, cheating Ghai and their regular ego-clashes.

Launch of Surat Diamond Bourse (Sdb) has catapulted it to a unique position as being the World’s largest office building surpassing Pentagon. If we remember, in most of the Hollywood movies Pentagon building invariably featured as a backdrop or a location for the films which catapulted this building to a place of eminence around the world. With the launch of Sdb, one hopes that Sdb henceforth holds fort in all the forms of cinematic exposition, be it cinema, Ott or serials from India and make it a must visit itinerary for travellers in the near future.

What exactly is happening in the exhibition trade, especially to multiplex properties? Even before Covid-19 struck, many small chain operators wanted to get out of the business and were in the process of negotiating with bigger chains to be taken over. The negotiations, however, fell through when lockdown was announced.
Now the same smaller chain operator has not only decided to continue in the business but has recently inaugurated a new multiplex just a few days ago!
Then there is another chain, a major one. Even as its promoters are diluting their stakes, it has gone ahead and acquired a six-screen, 790-seat capacity property as well as another one with four screens to manage.
The first instance is of the Miraj group, which not long ago was planning to go with PVR, but the deal did not materialise. It has now launched a new four-screen property in Alwar!

36 Farmhouse(Zee5)
Starring Vijay Raaz, Sanjay Mishra Madhuri Bhatia, Amol Parasher, Barkha Singh, Ashwini Kalsekar, Flora Saini
Directed by Ram Ramesh Sharma
“Chutiyon se bhara padaa hai yeh ghar,” Vijay Raaz observes midway through this mishmash of the worse and the worst. That Subhash Ghai should come to this is a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions.
Not that anyone in this , hands-down Ghai’s worst production to date, has ever heard of Shakespeare. The characters are a bunch of buffoons and clowns , titivated with no redeeming qualities except that they can keep a straight face even when confronted with one of the dumbest most witless screenplays that actors have ever been given to read ever seen the motion picture was invented.
If Lumiere were to see what his dream has come to , he would slash his wrist.
Did actors like Vijay Raaz and Sanjay Mishra actually read the script before...

Flamboyant Indian filmmaker Subhash Ghai, known for several big Bollywood hits from the 1970s through the 2000s, has entered the world of streaming with film “36 Farmhouse.”
The film is produced by Zee Studios and Ghai’s Mukta Arts, the company behind iconic films “Karz” (1980), “Hero” (1983), “Karma” (1986), “Ram Lakhan” (1989), “Saudagar” (1991), “Khalnayak” (1993), “Pardes” (1997) and “Taal” (1999), all directed and produced by Ghai.
In his pomp, Ghai directed a virtual who’s who of Bollywood including Dilip Kumar, Raaj Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Nutan.
In “36 Farmhouse” Ghai tackles a topical tale born out of the several Covid-19 induced lockdowns India has endured over the past 18 months. It follows a father-son pair of migrant workers who on the way back to their native village during the pandemic shutdown find jobs at a lavish farmhouse owned by a rich lady.
