Starry Night (1999), which was the final film appearance of
Philip Abbott (portrayed Dr. Ruby), and was cast in that role by his own son,
Abbott Alexander, who not only portrayed the lead role of Vincent Van Gogh, but had the pleasure of acting alongside his own father in his father's final role, and was one of the four credited casting directors for the film, which was released about one year after Philip's death at age 73.
