Night of the Demons will be released on 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on October 3 via Scream Factory. The 1988 cult classic has been newly scanned in 4K from the uncut camera negative with Dolby Vision Hdr and DTS-hd Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0.
Celebrating its 35th anniversary, Night of the Demons is directed by Kevin S. Tenney (Witchboard) and written by Joe Augustyn. Cathy Podewell, Amelia Kinkade, Linnea Quigley, Hal Havins, William Gallo, and Alvin Alexis star.
A workprint version of the film, under its original title The Halloween Party, is included. Other special features include two audio commentaries with cast and crew; interviews with Augustyn, Kinkade, and actresses...

Celebrate the halfway point to Halloween by watching a quintessential Halloween favorite on the big screen alongside a scream queen, as Quigley is hosting a 35th anniversary screening of Night of the Demons at the Capitol Theatre in Arlington, Ma on Friday, April 28, at 8:30pm.
The 1988 cult classic will be presented in its unrated form. Quigley — who is also known for her roles in The Return of the Living Dead and Silent Night, Deadly Night — will be on hand to introduce the film and participate in a post-screening Q&a.
The event is presented by MonstahXpo and The Spooky Picture Show podcast. Quigley will be appearing at the MonstahXpo convention in Fairhaven, Ma on April 29-30 alongside the likes of Sleepaway Camp‘s Felissa Rose and Frankenhooker‘s Patty Mullen.

My discovery of Night of the Demons is one I’d consider the fondest of memories. It was back in my skuzzy VHS youth, whereupon I would scour my local mom and pop video store (Rip Video Express), placing the tags you’d need to procure said videotapes for rental. My mother would patronize the store every Friday, and my sister and I would be tasked by the friendly clerks with putting the tags out for returned tapes. I remember my curiosity being peaked by the horror section, because this was where the real gold lay within the store. The box art of these tapes showcased images that couldn’t even dream of being seen in a standard retail...
