The season 10 winner of The Voice released her new single “Deep Water,” and on Tuesday night, she returned to the singing competition to make her primetime debut of the soulful ballad.
The former child star — she starred in John Hughes’ 1991 movie Curly Sue — caught up with People on Tueday. Porter, 35, dished on her new music, her tight-knit bond with former mentor Christina Aguilera and her life as a rock star mom.

Alisan Porter may be eternally 10 years old to anyone who saw her in the '90s flick "Curly Sue," but the 31-year-old actually just welcomed her own little one on Tuesday (July 17). The actress and husband Brian Autenrieth are now proud parents to a baby boy, their first child together.
"Mason Blaise Autenrieth. 7 lbs 20 inches long. Born 7/17 we are all very in love," Porter tweets along with a pic of the baby sleeping in the arms of stepsister, Cassie.
In the wee hours of Wednesday morning, Porter writes, "Can't sleep just staring at my child." She also later posted the adorable pic below of her new bundle.
