To find out all about it, check out the video embedded above.
Scripted by Stuart Gordon, Dennis Paoli, and Charles Finch, The Dentist has the following synopsis: Dr. Alan Feinstone is a rich and successful Beverly Hills dentist. A lot of moments that didn’t make it into the theatrical cut of director David Gordon Green’s Halloween Ends were used to promote the film, with one of the most prominent examples being images that showed an extended version of the attack on the character Joan, Corey’s mom, who was played by Joanne Baron. Now that Halloween Ends is available on both digital and physical media, we decided to share the extended scene clip that shows the full attack on Joan.
At least this scene made it into the special features. The extended cut of the death of Susan the radio receptionist is nowhere to be found.
Green, who was also at the helm of Halloween 2018 and Halloween Kills, directed Halloween Ends from a screenplay he wrote with Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier. The film has the following synopsis:

David Gordon Green's "Halloween Ends" caps what is known as the "H40" trilogy, breathing new life into the Michael Myers-centered "Halloween" franchise that has chugged along since John Carpenter's original horror film in 1978.
In the new trilogy, Myers — or The Shape, as he was referred to in Carpenter and Debra Hill's script for the o.g. "Halloween" — has returned to the town of Haddonfield with the same unquenchable bloodlust he's held across decades, fought Jamie Lee Curtis' Laurie Strode and the townspeople (all of this over the events of Green's "Halloween" and "Halloween Kills"), and now holes up underground to nurse his wounds. Green, along with co-writers Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier, brings back beloved legacy characters like Strode, who once again heads into battle with the masked psychopath who attacked her and killed her friends four decades ago. According to Laurie Strode, there are two kinds of evil: external forces and internal infections. "Halloween Ends" explores these evils by constructing a deep character study about the transference of pain and violence from one tortured soul to another. Taking place four years after the previous two movies in the series, the film also offers plenty of slashing, and finally closes the door on the Michael Myers saga, at least as we know it. Only time will tell when it'll inevitably be rebooted again.
Over the last four decades, we've grown incredibly close to Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis), Allyson (Andi Matichak), Officer Hawkins (Will Patton), and even Michael Myers himself. After all, a slasher film is nothing if we don't have characters to root for. With the release of the latest and final (for now) film in the "Halloween" series, it's time to take a closer look at the concluding...

Is David Gordon Green trolling us? The director rescued John Carpenter’s game-changing slasher classic from the dumpster of disposable sequels by going back to the core mythology in 2018’s Halloween. He then sacrificed any goodwill that reboot earned by sidelining Jamie Lee Curtis and abandoning narrative coherence for random, unimaginative mayhem in 2021’s witless Halloween Kills. The conclusion of his trilogy, Halloween Ends, which promises the final faceoff between Laurie Strode and her psycho stalker Michael Myers, just seems to throw its hands in the air and surrender.
What starts out with a clever refresher steadily descends into self-serious trash, with laughable dialogue and plotting. But as with the last round, that’s unlikely to deter the series’ completists when the new film opens in theaters and simultaneously begins streaming on Peacock this Friday.

When Jamie Lee Curtis walked the black carpet outside the Tcl Chinese Theatre on Tuesday night for the world premiere of “Halloween Ends,” she was less than 24 hours away from becoming permanently cemented into Hollywood history — or at least, more so than she’s already been — with a hand and footprint ceremony on Wednesday morning.
“I’m, of course, thrilled, honored,” Curtis told Variety about being immortalized outside the theatre. “My family will be there with me, friends, colleagues, collaborators, the community of artists. I’m an artist, I get to make this work. I didn’t think I’d be an actor. I thought I’d be a cop. So the idea that I get to be an actor and do this beautiful work is really very powerful to me.”

"One bad puff can put you in the ground." Better Noise Films has revealed the official trailer for an indie drama titled Sno Babies, one of the first feature films from editor-turned-filmmaker Bridget Smith. Sno Babies depicts the grim realities of addiction and its effects on families. Kristen and Hannah are likeable, college-bound teens - and heroin addicts - hiding their plight behind the façade of middle-class suburbia. This is one of those dramatic films where the innuendo in the title is actually a reference to drugs, and not something else. Starring Katie Kelly & Paola Andino as Kristen & Hannah, with Michael Lombardi, Evangeline Young, Niko Terho, and Joanne Baron. This looks like a powerful film about drugs and addiction, but it seems a bit too cliche and heavy-handed overall to really make an impact. Still worth a look. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Bridget Smith's Sno Babies, direct from...

Tom Cruise stopped by the graduation ceremony of the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Acting School in California this past weekend to deliver a surprise speech, delighting everyone lucky enough to be in the room (except, perhaps, the poor tenured professor who had been planning for months to speak at commencement).
Cruise has a lot to say in ten minutes, but we've decided the following five tidbits from the speech are the most interesting — or at least entertaining — of all.
1.) He was always interested in "why?"
Becoming a successful actor - or at least, a believable actor - presumably requires an abnormal amount of empathy; Cruise being forever interested in "why?" makes sense, considering his acting pedigree-slash-his interest in weird religions based off of '50s sci-fi novels.
2.) He had saved up money to travel Europe after high school, but used it to move to New York to become an actor instead.

Before she was known as the tough but empathetic Det. Olivia Benson on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," Mariska Hargitay studied Meisner technique with acting coach Joanne Baron of the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio in Los Angeles. Hargitay was in one of the last groups of students that Baron (who now trains instructors) taught herself. Hargitay was also one of the last to take the class the way it was originally designed. The two women spoke with Back Stage and reminisced about the impact of the training on Hargitay's career. Back Stage: What was different about Joanne compared to previous teachers you'd had?Mariska Hargitay: Well, Meisner technique was different than anything I'd ever experienced. It's a really great way to be accountable to your craft and to yourself, but also it takes that kind of focus and dedication to learn anything. And this was a class that actually asked.

Los Angeles native Jemal Draco says he has always felt like an underdog. "I'm ethnic, I'm skinny, I'm short, and I'm very alternative-looking," he explains. That's why he was thrilled when writer/director Kimberly Seilhamer called him in to read for the part of Tyler in her feature-length horror film "One by One: Death's Door" after receiving his submission through BackStage.com."All horror films have the token jock that does what he wants to do and says stupid things, but Tyler is more complicated than that," Draco explains. I came in dressed in a studded vest, spiked my hair, had boots, ripped jeans, and put my hair in a Mohawk.""We searched high and low for Tylers, let me tell you," says Seilhamer. When Robin Wright broke onto the scene in 1987 as the luminous, romantic Buttercup in "The Princess Bride," some in the industry thought she was going to be a huge star. Okay, I’ll admit it, I’ve taken a couple of potshots at ol Sam Raimi’s ability to make a buck any way he can, namely by slapping his name on anything he can get his hands on. But that still doesn’t change the fact that I’m looking forward to his return to low-budget horror (or as “low budget” as you can get when you’re Sam Raimi, director of three “Spider-Man” films, I mean) with “Drag me to Hell”. Here are nine new images from the movie. A loan officer (Lohman) ordered to evict an old woman from her home finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, who turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point. Starring Justin Long, Alison Lohman, Jessica Lucas,...
