Freckle-faced American child star of B-westerns, an adept junior rider and roper, in films from the age of eleven. His studio, the Poverty Row outfit FBO, billed him as "The World's Greatest Juvenile Rider and Western Star" (he also had the moniker of "The Boy Wonder of Westerns"). Buzz was popular for awhile in the 1930's, before his appeal waned and he left show business for the rodeo circuit. A series of "Buzz Barton Special Daisy Air Rifles" were named after him.
